Anyways, Kid Icarus is up on the Virtual Console, as well as Ice Climber and Kirby's Adventure. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Kid Icarus is so hard X( I keep dying right around the first Grim Reaper. You have to shoot him when he's looking away - but beware as shortly after turning away from you he will quickly look behind his shoulder. And then you know what happens! "DO-DI-DO-DI-DOOO//DO-DI-DO-DO DIT DIT!!"  |

This is the first time I've actually played the original Kid Icarus (with the intention of beating it).
The Gameboy sequel is infinitely superior. It's a shame that no one ever seems to remember it exists.

I've actually only played the Game Boy one. But did it have the dancing reaper in it? I don't remember ever seeing him... which is why I want to play the original.  |

Unsurprisingly, the Grim Reaper also makes an appearance in this list of jerks of the gaming universe. Even though I've only played a small part of Kid Icarus I quickly started to hate that guy too. |

Even though I've only played a small part of Kid Icarus I quickly started to hate that guy too. If his dance is as hilarious as it sounds, I couldn't possibly hate him. ;D |

No there's four WORLDS, each with three levels - two climbing, one dungeon. Then there's the side-scrolling shooter bits! They're always awesome.
I really must play through this game again. Properly. Without cheating ;D

I thought the password system was left intact for saving, but only the cheats were taken out.
