Hate to say this since I've only viewed the last page of this thread, but this is a playlist of a bunch of old video game commercials that may or may not already have been posted. They aren't all Nintendo, but most of them are.... www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=E00F5F218FBADA23

I wonder what the point of that video was. Those were all different LCD games from different companies.
I used to have that Tiger LCD game for Gauntlet.
Anyway, I don't think I've posted it here yet, but I always loved this commercial for the remake of Shinobi.
"Shinobi's BACK!"

That "Shinobi's BACK!" gamer appears to be Masi Oka (a.k.a. Hiro Nakamara from NBC's Heroes).
Anyway, the only point of that commercial for various LCD handhelds I can think of is that they are happy to be out of school while they are enjoying them LCD handheld games before the Game Boy became widely known.

Stunt Race FX was one epic game. If the Virtual Console can manage to handle the "Super FX" stuff, I'd like to see this gem on there one day.

Here an old Master System commercial. I posted one similar to this before, but I don't think I've posted this exact one. I like watching classic game commercials because it's like a trip back in time where you can see the different mentality there was about video games. Sega's advertising wasn't too remarkable during the Master System era, but there were other ads like this for video games (particularly during the Atari era). It took more of a "home electronics" approach, rather than trying to be edgy and appeal to a specific demographic. We see the kids playing, but their father is playing, too, so it's portrayed as kind of a family activity. Sound familiar? I guess game advertising has come full circle. I especially like the part where the father says, "Sega's the one." (And I thought it was Neo. ) And how can you not miss the days when "scrolling backgrounds" was a notable feature?

Happy Halloween
Though, I already showed this earlier, and I'm not quite interested in the Castlevania series, I just thought some of you would enjoy this commercial. I found it at Nico Nico Douga and sent it to gameads.gamepressure.com, while the owner of the gameads website uploaded this exact one on YouTube.

Ah! Thanks, Parrothead! I've been waiting for that commercial to appear for years! I was starting to think I'd never see it again! Nice find. I wonder if ST2 had a commercial? It kinda did, but it wasn't very good...
