I didn't say they didn't have substance and characters... I said they suck Try and go third party. Maybe Sega heroes/villains, as an example (a veritable, untapped treasure trove).

I have about a million suggestions, but you still haven't drawn my last one.

I'd love to see Toejam or Dr. Eggman drawn in your style, Fry.

Dude, I haven't posted in ages! And I had to go back 2 pages to see what everybody was praising! But it was so totally worth it for that Wario sketch.
So anyway, I'd like to see your style converting some sega guys like shinobi or sparkster. Or a side character from the Sonic series like tails or johnny lightfoot. I still remember them from the good old "sonic the comic" days, see.
Oh, and to the faithful, Dr Eggman will always be Dr Robotnik, the evil counterpart of poor beloved Dr Kintobor, thank you very much.

Oh, and to the faithful, Dr Eggman will always be Dr Robotnik, the evil counterpart of poor beloved Dr Kintobor, thank you very much. Only to the faithful to the comics, dude. As far as the proper Japanese game continuity goes, he's Dr. Eggman, and Kintobor never existed. And the name "Robotnik" was never associated with him until Sonic Adventure 2, when they decided to use it for his grandfather's surname. So his real name is presumably still Robotnik, but he uses Eggman as an alias. Otherwise I'm sure the cops (or GUN) would figure out he's running Robotnik Corp. and arrest him by now. There's no continuity I know more about than Sonic. I've followed the series faithfully since 1991. EDIT: Oh, and Johnny Lightfoot's real name is actually " Pocky". Sonic Team retconned all of Sega of America's silly changes long ago. Really, calling them Kintobor or Johnny is exactly the same as calling Ganondorf "Mandrag Ganon" or "Ganondorf Dragmire"

I haven't done any drawing today - I have been once again immersed in the wonderful world of Phoenix Wright. JUSTICE FOR ALL! I've had a few requests to work on. I'm looking forward to 'em (I just looked forward to this game a little bit more)

Maybe you can get it off your chest faster if you draw Phoenix.

Of course, kirbychu, of course I meant the faithful to the comics.....ahem..... The games themselves were never much good anyway, but the comics were king. Oh, which reminds me fry, please draw Kid Chameleon, and I'm still waiting on that Chuck D. Cap sketch I asked about ages ago. I'm not being demanding and ungrateful am I? Very sorry if I am P.S. Checked out your Deviantart page recently, absolutely love Potatoman!

Of course, kirbychu, of course I meant the faithful to the comics.....ahem..... Hah, I was a big fan of STC back in the day. I actually used to talk to Nigel Kitching, the comic's main writer, a lot too. But I'm one of the few people who prefers the serious-yet-lighthearted atmosphere of the games over the darker approach the comics took. Except Lew Stringer's stories, which were cornier than a bag of corn.

At least your country's Sonic comics were usually in a better state than my country's Sonic comics. All over the place, it was...

At least the newest writer is supposedly doing a good job of fixing the mess that all the previous ones made.

Fry- Assuming the translation wasn' changed, there's a cameo in Reunion, and Turnabout actually. Reference anyway, Phoenix uses the term "Well excuuuuuse me princess", which we know is from a corny TV show using a line from Steve Martin anyway. But the princess makes it obvious this is a ref to the Zelda cartoon of shty proportions. Great game =P

The US Sonic comic reads like a bad parody of Days Of Our Lives. You have to remember that the American Sonic was published by Archie Comics. Of course it's going to come out looking like a soap opera. Speaking of SEGA comics, anyone every get their hands on NiGHTS into Dreams?
