You have to remember that the American Sonic was published by Archie Comics. Of course it's going to come out looking like a soap opera. Are Archie comics known for turning comics into that crap, then? To be honest, I've never seen anything else they've done. They're main series of comics consist of two girls, Betty and Veronica, fighting over Archie or Archie and Reggie fighting over Veronica. They also have Archie and his friend Jughead getting in trouble. Call it what you want, but I call it a soap opera. Of course, I've got around a hundred issues of it, so needless to say I like this particular soap opera. They also do Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Josie and the Pussycats. |

Hey! Archie comics Sonic was amazingly well done for the first almost eleven years. It went from almost entirely slapstick (better than the DiC show though) to a more serious note and finally a mix and becoming more like a heroic comic series itself. Then it began to drop down when they started the Evil Sonic return phase. I got lost like twenty comics before that, looked in and out of it though.

The old Sonic cartoons rocked. Scratch & Grounder FTW! There were a select few episodes I liked. What I saw of SATAM I liked better. Both of them can kick Underground's sorry ass. |

There's a point where something so horrid or after you're into it that it's kinda awesome (the new Olympic Games game because Sonic should have ended with SA2 as its finale and then after just remakes, although I liked Rush, Battle, and Advance 1) and a point where something's so hideously awful you can't even laugh at it. It's just painful. WE MADE A BOW THAT THE SHOW BE NEVER FOUND... |
