I don't think the system cameos are necessary. But I'm not going into the discussion. The parrot in Nintendogs is green, and like I said, I'm not entirely sure if parrot is a cameo or not. If anyone has Nintendogs can you check and tell us whether you think it's a cameo or not?

Just some suggestions

Kirby 64: You can hear music from past games from the second stage of Aqua Star and the second stage from Shiver Star.

Kirby Canvas Curse: When you complete a stage, you'll see 5 Kirbies above dancing - the Kirby sprites are from the Amazing Mirror and the stage resembles that of Kirby Super Star!

In Paint Roller's mini game, when you set the level to level 3, you may have a chance to draw:
-Triforce
-Super Smash Bros logo
-The letters "HAL"
-A nest with an egg-hatching dog on it.

I dont have F-Zero but I heard there was a racer named Zoda from Star Tropics. In Zelda:oracle of ages there is and island named Cresant island, This also might be a cameo to C-island

While Zoda shares a name with the Star Tropics guy, he looks and acts nothing like him and so it is not considered a reference. (at least I think thats the deal - I've never played Star Tropics).

I think we should remove the non-intentional name repeatations.

Say, In Golden Sun games there's an Alex.... and Alex is the name of one of the 4 main characters in Mario Tennis GB. But it's very obvious that that's not a cameo. Right?

Here's one you may have missed:

In Pikmin 2, There's a treasure called the "Growshroom". Its a big mushroom that has a possible reference to the Mario series in its description.

The Zoda one has technically been "removed" as a cameo... but if the suggestor of the Zoda cameo (almort) had actually bothered to visit the F-Zero X or GX cameo pages, he would have seen rather large entries where I debunk a number of cameos, including Zoda.

Yes, a Bulborb is in the Secondhand shop, as well as a ? Block you get as a toy (I wonder if the Bulborb is a toy as well..?) I don't think that's the parrot from DKC, though...it looked far more cartoony. I'll keep my eyes open for other Nintendog cameos.....

The Bulborb doesn't appear as a toy on any item lists I've seen... but I'll be sure to add it!

Secondly....

Looking back at your cameo page it seems empty- so here's some more I've found :

- The menus (Spindex, Souvineers, Options) all contain Mr Game and Watch- One of him holidng a game boy advance (well, more like micro), the next one is him in a sort of side-on juggling pose. The last one is him from Juggler, with some flashing symbols of options.

- You never put on the Souvineer Game cameos- that includes Mewtroid and Wario-Bike (A parody on SMB and Excitebike with Wario and hideously changed 8-bit graphics), the rest of them are extensions of microgames.

- Also there are Records- SMB theme, Metroid Ending theme, Balloon Fight theme, Wrecking Crew theme and kid Icarus theme (which in the description says "its the closest you'll ever get to a sequel!")

- Again, in the souvineers there is a Love Tester! This was made by Nintendo back in the old days.

- Mona's Boss game is STILL a parody on the Balloon Fight game, but with a car instead of a man.

- On Crygor's "Shake Down" microgame, the 1-up sound is heard when completing it on Level 3 (the one where you shake the rubbish out the bin).

- A beepy rendintion of the Mario Theme is heard on Wario-man's "Super Wario" level (the greenish one)

-In the Speed Stage "Chain Letter"- one of the clues is "Plumber"- it is Mario! (Fact- the game's simple)

- In Orbulon's "Boomerang!" on Level 3, the boomerang is actually the Mario Paint acrobat that also featured in "Apple Cut"!

- Gyroids appear in "Gyroid Jumble" in Driible's games, but I dont think they're meant to be a cameo from Animal Crossing.

Lots of WW:T cameos in case youd dint notice, Fryguy. Or have you given up on them

AND FINALLY....

In "Meteos" (one fo the best DS games, I love it) one of the sound sets's music is called "Famicomic". Coincidence, no?

I was waiting for WW Twisted to come out here... but for some reason it got delayed.

But I'm seriously going to attack the cameo pages. I've got a ton of screens and cameos in Twisted in my inbox, as well as here.
