Those are excellent. How did you get them, out of curiosity? Is there a GBA emulator that copies the tilt sensor now?

I have the game itself, completed it on GBA and used my Action Replay to load the save to my computer. After that I just used the save in the emulator and took screenshots.
I did use a code to get it tilting, but that was very slow and made the game unplayable.

Intriguing... I've been wondering how best to get screenshots from handheld devices. I wonder how the magazines get their DS review shots. They can't all rely on Nintendo handouts.

I've seen various gaming sites use the GB player for GBA screenshots. But I don't think those official magazines would do that. Maybe they get special Nintendo handouts from their press room.

I'm starting to think the Haniwa are a Japanese culture thing rather than Animal Crossing references... maybe I should stop treating them as cameos.
I'm also undecided on whether to consider all appearances of Mario in the WarioWare games as cameos at all... well, except for the retro games.

Well, if it's a game bassed on a Mario character, like Donkey Kong, Yoshi or Wario, but Mario isn't actualy a character in the game, he just makes a short appearance or 2.... then it's a cameo. At least that's the way I see it.

I just saw some mistakes on the cameo page. Mario Bros has you tilt the GBA so the shell flips and Mario crashes into the shell. In Baseball the ball follows the catcher and you have to make sure it doesn't get smashed away. In Balloon Fight the balloon moves, Balloon Fighter stays in the same place. In ExciteBike you need to dodge the sparks placed around the air. Those were the mistakes I saw.

You may be able to tell... but I was guessing them as I went along. Thanks for the clarification. I'll fix those tonight.
Then I suppose I'd better crack on with the NES section!

I bought the Pikmin 2 strategy guide a while ago, and there's a few we all have missed. ^^;;; There are five Gyro blocks. There is a red one called the Fond Gyro Block and a yellow one called the Memorable Gyro Block.
There is a pencil with the Nintendo 64 text on it called the Implement of Toil. The color is blue.
There's a orb on a pedistal that looks a bit like the one used by Katrina in Animal Crossing or the Fortune Tellers in Zelda; LttP. It's called the Future Orb. Could be wrong, though. Another possible cameo is a cookie that is a lot like the one in Yoshi's Cookie, but that may be pushing it. It's called the Comfort Cookie.
I think that's it. I'll see if I can get at least some scans of the pages in the guide for you to see.

I'd quite like to add Pikmin's licensed items Hm. That is a nightmare in itself. Heh. I'll try listing them sometime soon.

I noticed you didn't have any cameos for Wario Word. Four of the treasures you collect are an NES, Nitendo 64, Gameboy Advance, and GameCube.
Also, I'm not sure if this is true, but I was trying to find out if there was point to the secret area you unlock in the end of Cubivore and read that Doshin is there somewhere. It was in a FAQ at GameFAQs.com. The writer played the Japanese version, so he might have been taken out of the American version. All I could see was a wierd giant floating eye.

I have heard Doshin is in the Japanese version only.

I will be adding the following cameos and references this weekend if everything goes according to plan:
POKEMON RED/GREEN: One set of default names for the hero and rival in the Japanese version are Satoshi and Shigeru. This is a reference to Pokemon's game designer, Satoshi Tajiri, and Nintendo's uber-designer Shigeru Miyamoto. Apparently the rivalry is one-sided in real life - Satoshi Tajiri always wanted to create something as popular as Miyamoto's projects. Now he has, I suppose! I may also add something on the Game Freak building in Celadon City.
SUPER MARIO ALL-STARS (SMB3): The Kings no longer change into generic animals, but into characters and enemies from other Mario games. These include Donkey Kong Jr., Yoshi, Monty Mole, Cobrat, etc.
Anything from older games that I'm not thinking of?

I know there is... but only in the Japanese version. I want to know what game replaced it before I commit myself to anything. I'm slightly miffed Nintendo didn't just keep this Japan only curiosity in WWTouched. That's part of what made the original so intriguing... so many unheard of gems
