Super Paper Mario Cameos

Found three so far!

1.The first boss's eye turns into the Wii loading symbol thing.(The rotating blue circle with the blue ball)
2. Shortly before you fight him he says, "I am Error!"
3.There is a Nintendo DS on the wall in Saffron's house. It's used for something, maybe keeping track of recipes.

-Level 1-1's music has a segment from "Super Mario World" in it
-Level 3-1 and 3-3 has the Mario Theme in it
-In 3-4, in the room connected to the spike pit, there is a Famicom, SNES, N64, VB, and a Gamecube
In level 2-3, Mimi wants you to work of a 1million "Rubee" dept. She'll shoot them at you when you fight her in 2-4
-When Francis talks to Peach(3-4) in his invitory he has a "Cyborg Wart" and "Rare Candy Collection"

Does things from PM:TYD count as cameos?

Then why are you even in this topic, dude? GTFO XD We're not doing it to spoil the game, we're doing it because we're Fry's indentured servants aiding in the construction of the Nintendo Database.

I was gonna report Fracktail's Wii Shop eye and Chapter 3-4's Nintendo console lineup, but I guess I'm too little too late. D: I dunno if other Paper Mario cameos count, but I might as well make note of them while I'm here.

There's a room in world 3-4 with a multitude of dolls and posters including:

Then don't read it. The cameo board pretty much has the spoiler ahead rule on 24/7.

-When ever a character grabs a "Mega Star", he/she will becomes an 8-bit version of themselves(streight from SMB). In world 3-1, a Koppa Troppa will grab a Mega Star and become an 8-bit koppa troppa from the SMB. Grabbing a Pal Pill will also suround your character with 8-bit minions of themselves who will take damages for them.
-In 3-1, when you jump between the 2 red pipes and you will fall into a rendition of 1-2 from SMB. You can also up to the top of the level and find 3 warp pipes similar to the the warps to take you to world 2,3, and 4.

Found another Mario cameo. Lakitu's catch card reads:

"Lakitu chucks Spinys like coins at a Pianta Parlor. What's its problem? Someone made fun of its glasses."

And a potential Octrorok cameo with the Squigs:

"This nasty little guy needs to learn some manners. It spits rocks at people! Honestly, who does that?"

Hmmm. Thats not really a cameo. They do that anyway.

Dont worry, I didn't read any spoilers (give me a little of credit!) I just got a little annoyed that every time a game comes out, everyone rushes to post the obvious cameos (lets face it the cameos that are being posted now are the obvious ones, the ones that really matter are the not so obvious like Wii Sports Golf being a recreation of the holes of the original Nes golf)

Go to the room with Francis' game systems in 3-4 where you'll see Bit people in anime parodies of posters it seems, also Petuni and Bow posters all over. But flip to see a big screen TV with a Wii, a remote, and 4 games.

Bowser does refer to SMB saying in 3-1 how Mario's destroyed one of his castles over a good 100 times by then. Hmph, not really a cameo if you refer to your own series...not a big Nintendoverse one anyway.

Shell Shock is a Koopa shell item like an 8-Bit shell sprite, used as a shell to appear and slam into enemies, seems a lot like the NokNok and Lazy Shells in SMRPG.

There is an enemy named Koopa Striker, of course a soccer playing Koopa with a soccer ball colored shell and big eyebrows. But he attacks by kicking a soccer shell and speeds a kick through flames, which seems to be a nod towards Mario Strikers. Could not be, but both Koopa Striker and flaming kick ring a bell to me...

Also I'm pretty sure it was a Clubba doll, not a Tubba Blubba one.

I know we just talked about spoilers, but this is world 6 and 7 stuff kiddies. Looker beware.

-In 6-1, the Sammer at gate 9 says he is "The Squating Birdo"
-It's Not a cameo, but Sammer at gate 11 says he is the one who leave coins in boxes and what not
-6-1 again, at gate 18, after you beat the Sammer he says "Well Done...but your prize is in another castle
-In 7-1 the conversation with the guy yoiu first talk to, he says "This is where people go when their game is over; some call it World -1
-The people from the Overthere are called Nimbus(from SMRPG)

Go to the game room and examine his TVs and Computers below the DVD players and games. He has a list of things to buy, including an Excess Express train set, a Ms. Mowz doll for his collection (with real smooching action! WWWOW!), and a parody of survival-horror games and... romance sims in the form of a new game, Larry Koopa: Zombie Heartbraker, a Magnus von Grapple figurine, a Tanooki suit made from tanooki, "Harder Than Bedrawk, The Rawk Hawk Story" on DVD (MUST BUY I GUESS), and the 47th issue of Cyborg Wart. Finally, besides his claim of more things, a radio controllable Professor Frankly.

MAKING FUN OF VIDEO GAME/COMIC BOOK/ELECTRONIC FANS HUH. Awesome. Sorta like me.
