You understand Sora is the name of Sakurai's new development team that is working on Brawl?

I'm fairly sure Sora is Sakurai's development team, not the team specifically created for Brawl. The Brawl team will no doubt have most, if not all, of Sora's members, though.
And why release big name games when the Wii's biggest game is released? Smash, Mario 3, etc etc will release when nothing else good is out to fill holes in the schedule.

Also the aforementioned example of Kid Icarus already being out when they could have saved it for SSBB. We'll definitely get Smash Bros on the VC soon enough, but I don't think we'll get it at the same time as Brawl. Kid Icarus needed to come out beforehand to make sure that people who didn't play video games during the 80's could find out who he was and start acting like Kid Icarus fanboys and defintly buy SSBB to show there fanboyisim for Pit. I exagerate of course. A small percent of the gaming population would accually do this but it would help sales slightly. To expand on the thought, maybe they put Kid Icarus in beforehand to decrease the number of people who will go "Huh? Who is this guy?"

You understand Sora is the name of Sakurai's new development team that is working on Brawl? Wrong. Sora is the name of the team that Sakurai formed when he left Nintendo. When he came back to work on Brawl, Nintendo gave him a new development team, specifically formed to work on the game. Read that again, NINTENDO picked out Sakurai's team, not Sakurai himself. Sora is probably the one development team that can't possibly be working on the game.

Here is an item idea a friend told me today: The Nintendo DS which is splitting the fight into 2 screens to make it even more confusing. Also I got the idea of the Wiimote with which you can do melee attacks from a range.
And I want that Blastoise will be a Poké Ball Pokémon for the third time. I and my cousin have too many jokes revolving its German name.

The concept was a simplified fighting game, there is absolutly no reson to make it confusing or super complex. Thats like making a showroom to show colors together and then painting it black an white; it just simply makes no sence.

Like the Nintendog is blocking the screen and making everything confusing the DS's two screens would also make everything confusing as that.

He worked as a director for Meteos and did something on Kriby Canvas Curse. He named the studio he got "Sora". Before this, he has been doing random jobs.

No I mean a throwable item which generates a second screen that is probably the same battle scene but with a rotating camera to distract the player(s).

Sora, likewise, is freelance--which is likely where you're getting confused. If you read the third page of the "How This Game Came to be Made" article on the official site, Sakurai only addresses the SSBB team as "The Studio" and has not revealed its true name yet. The fourth page addresses Sora as a seperate entity.

The fourth page addresses Sora as a seperate entity. You are right that I was wrong, but I diod find the Wikipedia page for it. So, it doesn't rule out any Sora's involvement. Of course, what the heck did this team do. It's not credited with any game releases, as Wikipedia mentions none. This whole thing is a little weird. EDIT:Actually, I beleive "the Studio" was refering to antoehr dev. team in general. He mentiones them in page 3 as if they were already in existance, and he's said back in 2005 that they were working with an unknown developer called "The Studio(code name of course). I'll look more into I guess. It bothers me. But, busy right now(and lazy). So this proves that "The Studio" is not the dev. team behind Brawl, but are offering assistance. By how he says it, forming Sora is related to Brawl. So, was it the team Nintendo made. So, it's still hard to say if Sora was made right after he left Hal(which seems unlikly due to his past record) or it's the team made for Smash. EDIT2:Lawl, research! Wikipedia. It says Sora was founded in 2005, which would conect with then the new studio was made. It doesn't mention Sora as part of Smash. So, heres what I know. Sora was made during 2005. It is unknown whether it was the studio made for Smash, or one he made him self. The first one is a bit more likily sincee making a full scale development team is a lot of money, and one can't simply leave it for another. However, we'll have to wait and see when Brawl comes out.

First things first, how does the quote "Miyamoto introduced me to 'The Studio'" confirm that they are not developing Smash, instead they are only in a consultant role? Thats a giant leap there, and there is no logic behind it. Its simple... Sakurai works for HAL Sakurai leaves HAL Sakurai forms freelance company (Sora) Nintendo says "Hey Sakurai, make our game" Sakurai says "hey sure, but I can't handle it by myself" Nintendo says "Hey no problem, we'll get these guys ('The Studio') to help you" Sakurai says "Aw hell yeah, dawg" Nintendo says "Fo' shizzle" ... Smashchu says something I don't follow ... World explodes *Note - timeline not actually to scale, time between events may be significantly larger than it appears.

^2 things wrong with that. 1)We don't have a firm time when Sora was founded. 2)Making a Dev. team is hardf and requires a lot of money. Logically, if he was making it, he wouldn't leave it.
Also, I don't beleive "Thje Studio" is involved directly. They had some people work under him, but It never says hat they are directly involved. I beleive he refers to them as help, so something like that(I'll elaborate later)
It's not confermed if Sora is the dev team working on Brawl, or that he made it for Brawl. How I see it, it point to the fact nintendo made it. Made in 2005, and he says forming Sora is related to Smash. (EDIT later)
