I love this stage. It is the simplest and the most beautiful. It is a testament of how great the development team is by making a gorgeous stage even though its flat! They are pure geniuses!

RE: Fry's question (forgot to quote)
What I basically want is for each character to have his own stage. So if this game has 5 Mario characters, there should be five Mario stages. LoZ should have at least three, and so on.
There could be exceptions. Pokemon will probably have at least 4 characters, but four stages is a bit much. And some franchises should have at least two stages, regardless of character amount. Metroid, for example.
And this is a must: I want more stages than there are characters again.

To awnser your question Fry, I think they'll have 2 per franchise.

2 is a good number. It depends on the amount of game series included, I guess.
The Postman cameo idea is brilliant (except for the bumping part, lol).

I think the amount of stages per franchise should reflect on the amount of characters per franchise. Franchises that are unlikely to have more than one character (F-Zero, Yoshi, WarioWare), as well as franchises that only have two characters, should have two stages; from there, the number of stages is directly proportional to the number of characters. Say Fox, Falco and Krystal are all playable for Star Fox; thus, there should be three Star Fox stages.
Then there should be stages unique to the SSB franchise (Battlefield), and some Retro stages in addition to the new ones preexisting for the other franchises.
I'm looking forward to a slightly better LoZ stage though. A flat plain that occasionally 'splodes in the middle is kind of bland.
And Phendrana Drifts would make an excellent course for Metroid, IMO. Especially that place where all the Mama Sheegoths appear later in the game that looks kinda like the ruins of an old civilization. I imagine the battle taking place on a bunch of ledges, where the gaps between them would be KO Zones. Icicles would occasionally drop from the ceiling to damage players and block up the pits, and would be broken by the Mama Sheegoths.

Mr. Molecule... that screenie is 2 days old and we've already covered it. I'm hoping for a 2-per-character thing - for the MAIN characters. It would be great if the number of stages increased based on the characters - otherwise we have Delfino Isle and Mario Circuit as the Mario stages... plus Yoshi's Island... but what of Bowser? Peach? One more Yoshi stage? You could easily fill Pokemon stages. I'm still hoping for a Safari Zone stage with random Pokes in the grass They've done well so far... but I am still hoping for stages for non-playable characters.

As has been suggested, 2 per franchise with more for franchises with more characters sounds alright. Though a few franchises could probably get away with 1, too.

Very true, this week was the best so far IMO. BTW, there was another thing I noticed in one of the Giga Bowser screenshots, and it's Zelda's Lightning Kick. And regarding Bridge of Eldin, I can't help but link this beautiful song for you all. I'm in love with it , and along with those graphics, it would even make me forget the simplicity of its mechanics ^_^

This stage has to have some music from TP, tho. Just like that Yoshi's Island stage doesn't seem right with the Yoshi's Story music. Something's amiss--we're not seeing all the stages just yet.
That being said, my vote is for 2 as the minimum for all franchises, save those which are minor/have only one rep. Bigger franchises, like Mario, can increase their allotment. I'm thinking we'll see around 5 Mario based stages and 3 Zelda. All other major franchises will get 2, while smaller franchises (for example, Punch Out) would have one. Would Kid Icarus get one or two? Sky Palace can have the Kid Icarus theme, but I want a stage with the Underworld music too...

You could easily fill Pokemon stages. I'm still hoping for a Safari Zone stage with random Pokes in the grass Poké Floats II anyone? I always wished for a stage with real Pokémon cameos, and Groudon being a Poké Ball Pokémon didn't help much... On the other hand, Dialga and Palkia would make awesome legendary Poké Ball Pokémon that switch stages and shorten/enlarge the duration of battles.

The Hyrule Field theme is one of the best musical pieces in Twilight Princess. There's also a rather good orchestral version of it here. I'm fairly sure it's official, but just not included in the game.
