Bridge of Eldin... Simply beautiful! And it looks fun to play in. I can only imagine what a stage based on The Wind Waker would look like if Cel-Shaded Link gets in.

You could easily fill Pokemon stages. I'm still hoping for a Safari Zone stage with random Pokes in the grass Poké Floats II anyone? God, no. Please, no more recycled Pokemon stages unless they're Retro stages. The fact that they're bringing back Pokémon Stadium alone is bad enough. Let's see some actual in-game locations this time around, since that's what Sakurai seems to be aiming for. I still say Fortree City or Pacifidlog Town from RuSaEm would make great stages. The former would be set on the platforms leading into the treehouses, with bridges spawning between them now and then. The latter could be set on the floating platforms with logs blocking the KO Zones to the bottom, but if you stand on them too long, they sink down and open a gap.

I was always a fan of Saffron City. Something akin to that again would be nice.
Few more cool Pokemon locales:
Burnt Tower/Tin Tower Sky Pillar Mt. Coronet Viridian Forest Battle Tower (any) Pokemon Tower Safari Zone (any)
I just want another stage where random Pokemon appear to attack, and you actually feel like you're IN the Pokemon world (as opposed to at a place vaguely resembling it maybe sorta)

Let's see some actual in-game locations this time around, since that's what Sakurai seems to be aiming for. That's exactly what bugs me... He seems to be doing so, except with Pokémon! x-D From all those mentioned, I prefer Sky Pillar. It would have all of Hoenn in the background, and a Rayquaza cameo if it doesn't become a Poké Ball Pokémon (which isn't likely). And Batle Frontier is like a Battle Tower + more stuff.

So far, today's update is about 4 minutes later than usual. I'm starting to get a bit worried! ;D

This next update is about: Standard Combos======================================================== Up until now, standard combos, or button-press combos, were done primarily by tapping the attack button repeatedly.
That won’t change in Brawl, but now you can also just hold down the attack button to automatically do consecutive standard attacks.
It will vary a bit by character, of course, but in the case of Fox...Press and hold the attack button to do consecutive jabs.Press the button repeatedly, or just start hitting your enemy to initiate the combo. You’ll transition smoothly into his Rapid Kick! The game will be compatible with a variety of controllers, so I’ve gone a tad easier on the button pressing.
Of course, each character will have variations. While some may do repeated rapid jabs, others may simply do three slow swipes with a blade.
Meta Knight is somewhat unique. His standard attack is an unbelievably rapid sequence of slices. Just press and hold the button to unleash a rampage. Hee ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya ya!This guy needs to calm down.

I have a feeling that the first half of the week's update will be relatively tame, to set us up for E3.

Is'nt that Meta Knight rapid sword swipe the thing you see him do in the near the end of the second trailer (the Nintendo World one)?

Yeah, not much to say, but Metaknight profile tomorrow? You think that now, but Opp, turns out it's Ness tomarrow. Not as awesome, but still acceptable., I give it a passing 3/5 for giving us some decient info. Also, it seems they are going with the ccharacters a week thing. That's how it's kind of been. We'll see if it pans out.

Well, not every update is going to be super-awesome. Remember, we may all be Smash veterans, but not everyone is, so things like this might be useful. Also, they provide us with little insights into how the gameplay is going to change this time.
But we have just had a damn good run of updates. Bowser, Giga Bowser, Assist Trophies...

Interesting. I'm a bit surprised that they'd change the combo system like that. Well, I'm sure Sakurai wouldn't have done it unless he was sure it was a good idea.

Interesting. I'm a bit surprised that they'd change the combo system like that. Well, I'm sure Sakurai wouldn't have done it unless he was sure it was a good idea. They didn't change it (in the sense of replacing the old method), they just added another way of doing it. Up until now, standard combos, or button-press combos, were done primarily by tapping the attack button repeatedly. That won’t change in Brawl, but now you can also just hold down the attack button to automatically do consecutive standard attacks.
