POKEMON - I don't count actual Pokemon as AT's because they are in their own category called Pokeballs Red Steven Stone A question, who is Steven Stone? Champion from Ruby/Sapphire. He uses Steel types, and looks like a slick business type with spiky blue hair. So to reiterate the point I made earlier, would these all be trophies we saw in Melee plus some that get added into Brawl? I get the point that you're "bringing trophies to life," so it would only make sense. I guess if that's the way it works, then things like Paper Mario, Baby Bowser, and "Classic" Link are feasible as well.

I assume that Ray 01 will not appear before either Ray Mk II or Ray Mk III. Perhaps he will appear before X-Ray and the original Ray. For some lesser-known (but original) characters, I would say: Any vehicle from Stunt Race FX Tamagon Kabuki Quantum Fighter Some boxers from some Punch-Out!! titles (not just the NES versions) Muddy (Mole Mania) (if unplayable) Dr. Wright (if unplayable) Alice (Balloon Kid/Balloon Fight GB) (if unplayable) ST Falcon w/ Mike Anderson (Battle Clash and Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge) Kururin (Kururin series) (if unplayable) Anything from Hogan's Alley Any Wild Gunman Sheriff (Sheriff arcade) (if unplayable) Some Happy Panechu (Koro Koro Happy Panechu!) Several aliens from "Chee Chai Alien" and "Nonono Puzzle Chailien" Anyone from Electroplankton Hakkun (Sutte Hakkun) (if unplayable) Anyone or anything from the Famicom Detective Club series Hero from "Time Twist" Several Nintendo toys Anyone from any of Nintendo's cards Harry (Teleroboxer) (if unplayable) Solar Striker Goku the Monkey King (Yu Yu Kii) (if unplayable) Donbe & Hikari (Shin Oni Ga Shima) (either young or old) (if unplayable) Jill (Drill Dozer) (if unplayable) There are plenty more characters for me to mention later, because I used the Internet Channel for this post, and I will switch back to my PC to post more of my choices for Assist Trophies. Whoa. A little much there don'tcha think? Some are even bonkers for obscured characters(mostly Tamagon). Most likely, the Assist Trophies will hold many characters. I know my list is "a little much", but I'm just guessing. Here are others I guessing would appear in SSBB as Assist Trophies: Anyone from Kurikin Nano Island Story The main robot from Chousouju Mecha MG Barbara the Bat (Daigasso! Band Brothers) Pockle (GiFTPiA) Cupid (Sennen Kazoku) Anyone from Sakura Momoko no UkiUki Carnival Anyone from the Magical Vacation/Magical Starsign series Kabin (Karkurenbo Battle Monster Tactics) Protagonist of Koto Battle The three boys from Marvelous: Another Treasure Island Anyone from Shigesato Itoi's No. 1 Bass Fishing series Anyone from Hajimari no Mori Hiro and/or Masaru Kado (Trade & Battle: Card Hero) Moogle/Muguru-kun (POWER Lode Runner) The Japanese demon (POWER Soukoban) The gun you control in Radarscope The gun you control in Space Fever I The space fighter from Game Boy Camera's Space Fever II Space Firebird Space Demon Sky Skipper Anything from Helifire Anyone from Nintendo's Arm Wrestling arcade That paddle ship from Alleyway Anyone or anything from Nintendo Wars series Prince of Sablé and Prince Richard (For the Frog the Bell Tolls)(if unplayable) Lip (Panel de Pon) (if unplayable) Anything from X, the Game Boy title Saki Amamiya (Sin & Punishment) (if unplayable) Skapon (Joy Mech Fight) (if unplayable) Takamaru (Nazo no Murasame-jō) (if unplayable) Fighter Hayabusa (Pro Wrestling) (if unplayable) Tin Star (Tin Star) (if unplayable) Stafy (Densetsu no Stafy series) (if unplayable) AND DeMille/Demiru (Tomato Adventure) (if unplayable)

No no...it's "Rat Goo". It's what happens when a rodent comes in contact with a truck wheel. I've been only referencing this. And I'd like to see some units from the Wars series.

WARNING TO ALL POSTERS IN THIS THREAD
If one more person posts a list of whatever the hell you can think of without explaining what you would like that Assist Trophy to do and why, then I will lock this thread. Kapeesh?
I could write a ridiculously long list, from the gunship in Space Fever up to Lineback in Phantom Hourglass. You know what? I don't want every single Nintendo character to be represented! It would be a stupid waste of game code. I want you people to think about what characters would SUIT the game, what their assist action COULD be.
So there you go. Group warning ;D

Bu-bu-bu-but... meaningless lists. Its what the internet does best.
I love how people have taken the quote "You may even see some that only the most dedicated fans will recognize, so you’ll have to look forward to them" to mean "the 3rd enemy from the obscure Japan only Virtual Boy accounting / mining simulator game confirmed!"
I expect the assist trophies to give us the ability to see a nice selection of lower-than-2nd-tier and slightly-more-obscure-than-Ice-Climbers characters, along with perhaps a few higher end characters that perhaps are no playable. No more.
I've got a feeling most of you are gonna be disappointed again, and be moaning "waaah waaah theres no gun you control in Space Fever 1"

Here's some fleshed out ideas then:
Kamek Koopa - He flies over the stage and drops his magic goop over all the fighters, making everyone giant sized at the same time.
Professor Kawashima - His gigantic Asian head flies up and turns the screen white. He asks a simple question with four answers routed to the four directions. The person who answers correctly is spared his angry fury.
Star Fox Team - This could be any of the Star Fox characters not playable, including fighters from Star Wolf. Using it will cause one of the Arwings to fly across the stage shooting lasers at the foes.
Petey Piranha - Flies across the stage puking up gloop on the ground. Makes the stage slippery and also slows down whoever gets covered by the gloop.
Eggplant Wizard - Appears in the stage and tosses out two eggplants - whoever is hit by them turns into an eggplant for about twenty seconds.
Metroid - Appears and latches on to the nearest person and starts sucking out health. You can escape using the Shield Roll a few times.
E. Gadd - Appears on the stage and starts vacuuming foes up with the Poltergust.
Dr. Crygor - Flies up from the spot he is released high in the air, then crashes down near the closest enemy (ala Kirby's rock move), only he explodes on impact.

ONOS, Fry has FURY! Here's some ideas I thought up... Boo Buddy -- Flies towards the character that released him and makes them temporarily invisible Stalfos -- Similar to enemies in Adventure mode, just wanders the stage causing trouble until he's taken down Animal Friends -- First Rick, Kine, and Coo pop out in a surprising "burst" with slight knockback. Then Nago, Chuchu, and Pitch pop up again above them. Then finally Gooey appears on top looking stupid as ever (so basically a three-chances-to-hit kinda deal) Waddle Doo -- Fires off Beam attack Lolo and Lala -- Appear on either side of stage and kick a block between the two of them, damaging players in between Koopaling -- One of the 7 Koopalings does a simple "jump out, attack, jump back" deal. Each one has varying power Jill -- Drills into the stage, and bursts underneath a random player 5 seconds later Old Man -- Throws fireballs

Oh, here was my favorite one I thought up yesterday:
Mii - A random Mii from your Wii (or Wiimote) is released and used a sports-type attack to do damage.

I doubt Kawashima would appear in SSBB, because he is REAL. If you still want him in SSBB, then don't forget Mike Tyson and Ken Griffey Jr..

Dr. Mario - he throws many pills in one direction
Toad - he drops Super Mushrooms and Poison Mushrooms as he runs back and forth the stage
Mallow - he uses the "Snowy" spell to summon a giant snowman to drop on the stage and explodes, freeziing your opponents
Geno - he uses the "Geno Whirl" to cause 999% damage on your opponents, making it easier for them to get KO'd
Petey Piranha - he spits up sludge on the stage, making it slippery
King K. Rool - he throws his crown around like a boomerang
Young Link - he puts on a random mask to transform into Deku Link, Goron Link, or Zora Link
Deku Link - he shoots bubbles like a machine gun
Goron Link - he rolls across the stage in one direction, sending your opponents flying
Zora Link - he electrifies himself like Pikachu's Thunder
Sheik - he/she uses his/her ninja-like moves to attack your opponents
BowWow - it drags you along the stage like in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! as it chomps on your opponents on its way
Metroid - it latches itself to the nearest opponent and absorbs their HP, stimulateously healing your HP
Ridley - he grabs the nearest opponent and flies upward, KOing your opponent
Kamek - he shoots shapes around, aiming for your opponents like homing projectiles
Baby Mario and Baby Luigi - they team up by getting into the "Baby Drill" position and spin in one spot hitting your opponents with the hammer
King Dedede - he chases the nearest opponent trying to pound them with his hammer
Lolo and Lala - they create blocks and then push them in opposite directions repeatedly Falco - he uses his Blaster and shoots in one direction repeatedly Ness or Lucas - he uses the fully-charged "PK Flash" spell to send your opponents flying
Ice Climbers - they run around pounding your opponents with their hammers
Mr. Game & Watch - he uses Judgement to attack an opponent
Eggplant Wizard - he walks back and forth throwing eggplants around; get hit by an eggplant and you are a walking eggplant for a few seconds
Isaac - he summons a random Djinni to summon random elemental attacks much like Togepi and Clefairy in Melee
Little Mac - he punch-outs an opponent in front of him, sending them flying like Porygon2 in Melee
Tom Nook - he throws a bunch of leaves up to the sky and it is raining furniture
Lip - she summons raining Garbage Blocks
Balloon Fighter or Alice the Balloon Kid - he or she flies towards a nearby opponent and spikes them down from above like C. Falcon's aerial down A move in Melee
C. Olimar - he plucks 100 Pikmin in amazing speed, ordering them to swarm your opponents and throw them off the stage
Muddy - he pops out of the ground and pulls out a ball and pushes it in one direction, bowling over your opponents Bubbles - she shoots sonic beams to paralyze your opponents and then runs toward them and pushes them over the edge
Duck Hunt Dog - grass grows on the stage and the dog starts sniffing then barking before jumping behind that patch of grass, sending three ducks out; these ducks fly toward your opponents then Zapper Light Gun appears in front of the screen and shoots one of the ducks (one of your opponents, to be accurate) KOing that opponent then the dog laughs

Count Bleck - flies around catching people in vortexes. Lakitu - Flies around tossing spinies around the stage. Cucco - Swarms the stage causing 5% damage to everyone.

I doubt Kawashima would appear in SSBB, because he is REAL. If you still want him in SSBB, then don't forget Mike Tyson and Ken Griffey Jr.. But he means, as in floatting head form. As someone mentioned Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan would be a great assist. My original idea was that they would dance and power up your character.

Oh, here was my favorite one I thought up yesterday: Mii - A random Mii from your Wii (or Wiimote) is released and used a sports-type attack to do damage. This is the most acceptable use for a Mii in Brawl that I've seen so far. I think this is the only way we'll see them other than being a shopkeeper of some sort. Also, you people do realize that BowWow is just a Chain Chomp from a Zelda game that's almost a decade old, right? Why should BowWow get any candy, when a regular Chain Chomp--or even that awesome flamin' Chain Chomp from SMS--would do? XD
