Who I don't want as a Assist Needs to be playable. No assist trophy for Tingle. I think I'd settle for Miis as an Assist I'd still like them to be playable though.

I doubt Kawashima would appear in SSBB, because he is REAL. If you still want him in SSBB, then don't forget Mike Tyson and Ken Griffey Jr.. But he means, as in floatting head form. Still, Kawashima came before Brain Age, and Sakurai wants characters that originated from video games, not real people that are best known for their video game appearances. Kawashima isn't really a Nintendo character. Read the Wikipedia article about Kawashima.

Who I don't want as a Assist Needs to be playable. No assist trophy for Tingle. What about the Tingle brothers? If the theory of Assist Trophies being collectible trophies themselves is true, then that would imply Mii would also be a trophy (and what text would describe the trophy of yourself?). In that case, I'd make yet another summoning item that is exclusive for Miis. Here are more: - Gordo: Serves as a mere obstacle for everyone, and it's hard to get rid of it.
- Fronk: Runs across the stage while evading a hovering nose that shoots balls.
- Sidestepper: Attacks with its pincers. Can be defeated by being hit twice.
- Wizzrobe: Fires magic beams, summons another creature, and then disappears.
- Inky, Blinky, Pinky, Clyde: they'd work just like the ReDeads from in SSBM.
Samurai Goroh is a rather major character (he's not generic, like the Hammer Bros. or a Labrador Retriever). So it may be possible that he's one of the most powerful Assist Trophies, just like Groudon. Something that would be cool (and I can't come up with right now) is an Assist Trophy character that transforms its target.

Aha! I've got one!
Kuribo's Shoe - the Goomba hops around in the famous green wind-up shoe stomping anyone; now this is far better than a plain old Goomba!

Aha! I've got one! Kuribo's Shoe - the Goomba hops around in the famous green wind-up shoe stomping anyone; now this is far better than a plain old Goomba! Now that is a good idea! If you managed to stomp on the goomba would you get the shoe to use for yourself? I also like the idea of the EBA/Oudean group powering you up, I could not think of that idea. Mii are good as well. Now my ideas Slippy Toad - Could chuck Starfox assualt grenades at you. (unless some other character can already throw grenades at you, I have heard something saying but not confirming Snake can) Falco Lombardi (If not playable) - Uses the sniper rifie from Starfox Assualt and shoot people from a distance. The further the way you are from him the more powerful the shot is when it hits you. Prince Tricky or someother Starfox Adventures dinosaur - could come attack the enemy like in Tricky's case ramming charging forward on the ground and then when he makes contact with another player he will swing his head back sending them up into air over him and then falling to ground behind him. Tetra - Could come and swipe and jump at you with her sword and maybe a few cannonballs (shot by her band of pirates) could come falling from the sky. Space Pirate (from Metroid) - Will shoot and jump at you. All the enemy characters (not at the same time) from SSBM adventure mode (that admittedly rarely appeared in VS mode) - Have them back with better graphics and some of them (like Octoroks, Redeads and maybe Like Likes) with stronger attacks from what they had in SSBM.

Y'know, once again, those three Assists we saw so far were positive requests for new fighters in Brawl. And other suggestions (Beat Agents, Toad, Ridley, etc.) would all work, very, very well as Assists... I really hope, tho, that Mac, Dedede, Krystal, Takamaru, Lolo, and Diddy don't get that sorta treatment

It would be nice if Tingle was playable. Then I could mercilessly beat him to a pulp.

It would be nice if he werwe an assist. Not really much he could do.

He has been so confused with the Kirby franchise, most have forgotten he had a very popular and extensive series of his own--the Eggerland games! He'd be such a fun character to throw into the game, too!

Which means he'll get clumped into the Kirby franchise. Besides, does he really have that many moves.

Which means he'll get clumped into the Kirby franchise. Besides, does he really have that many moves. Lolo has a lot of items from his games to utilize, as well as the fact that his gal pal Lala follows him around in the third game. So there could be some cool tagteam fighting right there, as well as their access to magic and magical tools (Lolo's a super smart magician, after all) And regardless, the Eggerland/Adventures of Lolo games were developed by HAL for the Nintendo and MSX consoles, both of which are on the VC. I don't see how HAL, which has been more or less absorbed into Nintendo, couldn't bring back a franchise like that for Nintendo if needed to.

Especially now that Nintendo is run by an ex-HAL employee, and the developer of SSBB was probably heavily involved in the Lolo games (I don't know his exact involvement, but for them to become major Kirby characters I'd guess he created them). So it won't be hard for them to get the rights to use Eggerland/Adventures of Lolo in SSBB

I kind of agree with Smashchu there. That VC release would be one of the only things that favor Lolo's chances. And yeah, Lo* needs La*.
IDK, doesn't "Lolo vs. Lololo" remind you of "Ninten vs. Ness"? The difference is that Lolo was intended to be known by the public in more countries.

Don't forget about him being known as "Fololo" in the Kirby anime.
