On the subject of villainous theme songs, I'm hoping that they use of the two songs from Revenge of Meta Knight for the Halberd stage. Imagine that being played by an orchesra. *drools*

Aight, okay. Fine. You're grasping at straws at this point, so I'm not going to keep arguing with you. The other SSB thread got me thinking about this. I still can't figure it out. Since Tei isn't replying to me anymore, could someone tell me if I missed something in this conversation? All I said was PokeBalls, PokeFlutes, and Item Finders didn't have to be used offensively. I can't see how that is grasping at straws. So, I think I must be missing something. |

I want you to shut up and go away(or make an iteligent post but I know it's not going to be the latter). Anyway, I have been think of Starfy as a characters. I'm not sure if he'd get in, but he definatly would have some nice moves, such as a rocket upward attack, and maybe a hammer throw with the clam(don't know it's name). |

The only thing impedeing Starfy from getting in there is Mr. Sakurai's statement that he wants to avoid using Japan-only characters. Otherwise, I think it's a good idea.

I do think it's good that he's doing it since it gives everyone a fair shot, but most SSB fans want Japaness characters. Takamura FTW(is that how you spell it?) |

It's Takamaru, and the only two JPN-only characters I think have a shot are someone from Fire Emblem or someone from Mother 3.

I think Sothe may acctually get in this game. Since FE10 is new the Jap and US fans will go gaga for him. Of course, if FE10 makes it to the West in time.

It's not just Japan-Only characters that matters. There are also some characters that are mostly known in two countries / continents.
For some examples that I could think of:
Ness and other characters from MOTHER 2/SNES EarthBound (Japan and North America)
Geno and Mallow (Super Mario RPG) (Japan and North America)
Doshin and Jashin (Doshin the Giant) (Japan and Europe)
Mike Jones (StarTropics) (North America and Europe; Zoda's Revenge was only released in North America)
Kururin (Kuru Kuru Kururin) (Japan and Europe; sequels only released in Japan)
Alice (Balloon Kid - North America; Balloon Fight GB - Japan)
Saki Amamiya (Sin and Punishment) (Japan for the N64, and China for the iQue)
Mr. Stevenson (Gumshoe) (North America and Europe)
Characters from Custom Robo: Battle Revolution and Custom Robo Arena (Japan and North America)
Tamagon (Devil World) (Japan and Europe)
AND
Harry (Teleroboxer)(Japan and North America; I know the Virtual Boy wasn't released in Europe due to it's failure in Japan and North America)
I'm too lazy to think up some other characters. Some of these I mentioned have a pretty low chance at entering, some of these are who I am hoping for.

Ness and Mother 3 should be exampt becuase of Ness's entrince. And it wasn't one who are well known but ones who don't have a game in that region.

No to Mike Jones. I don't think he'd make a good character.
Also, I don't like that we NEED on more JP only and an US only. I say just put the good characters in the game. I do think they should be wary of JP only since they don't want to put too many in there.

Besides, Mike Jones has a lot of different moves and weapons he can use. The Baseball Bat, Yo-Yo, Hammer, or Katana would be good for close attacks, Spike Shoes for Bv, Magic Mirror as a B, Bolas for B>, and I'm not sure what for B^. His smash attack could be the Super Nova or Ultra Psychic Shock Wave. |
