My money's on the castle tomorrow, and Friday ends with some random something. Maybe the backstory is elaborated some more?
But like I said, Marth is still very feasible. Marth is very fluid, very nimble, and he uses a longsword. Ike uses a two-handed sword and likely could be a slow, heavy character because of it. Wait until we see Ike's moves--then we'll know if Marth has been axed.

The world icon is the Falchion, so it wouldn't make sense to use the Falchion, but have no Falchion user. Plus that castle isn't any castle from Tellius, so I'd bet on Marth's glorious return.

I think Ike would replace Roy before he would replace Marth. After all, Roy was just in to advertise for Fire Emblem: The Sword of Seals which, if i remember correctly, didn't sell as well as Nintendo had hoped. Marth, on the other hand, is the star of two popular Fire Emblem games.

Right before you said that, I was about to say that it looks like there will be no character from a Nintendo title released in one country/continent, because every character confirmed now at the Super Smash Bros. Dojo are worldwide characters, while there is still no sign of any character from a Nintendo title released in one region. I guess I'm wrong, but what I said is probably a rumor, and I know Sakurai said that he will not add too many one-country/one-continent characters. I think Ike would replace Roy before he would replace Marth. Well, Fire Emblem and Star Fox are my favourite franchises. If it was Metroid I'd be in the dark.
Marth is Mr. FE as Mario is Mr. Nintendo.

And I still contend that Marth is different enough to still be very feasible. Roy was literally a clone and a commercial. Ike has some potential as a "Marth Jr.," kinda like the Diddy to his DK  It's just mind boggling, at least for me, to see such an unpredictable and radical update. And, on top of that, a character that looks so amazingly realistic and different from all the rest. It's truly a character I know absolutely nothing about too, so I really feel like a n00b. This is the weirdest and greatest feeling ever Next Challenger Approaching? DIDDY  |

This is the hottest update in the DOJO up to this point, I'd never expected that a newcomer from a franchise would be revealed before its previous representative. This update may have been done to tick Marth fans off. What if Ike were the main FE character now, the one who gets the spotlight as a starter, while Marth is still a very popular secret character for FE "freaks"? It could work.

Just becuase they both have blue hair doesn't mean they look alike (makes them stand out in a crowd). Ike is more muscular while Marth is a lighter frame. ike may also be havier then Marth. I wonder who next then. It probobly won't be another New Challenger, probobly Falco, peach or Earthbound character, which I'm cool with. But, I really hope Diddy makes it in the end. |

Well, so far we've been getting one newcomer a month:
May: Pit
June: Wario
July: Zamus
August: Ike
With that in mind, the other profiles we get this month (if we end up getting any this month, which I suppose is likely, with the one-character-a-week pattern we've had lately) will probably be returning characters. But next month? I have my money on Diddy or Olimar.
I think we're nearing the end of the starting roster. What happens then? Do we stop getting character profiles? Does Sakurai start showing us unlockables? I sure hope it's not the latter.

Yeah, if he stops the character profiles but replaces them with an abundance of Special Moves and Final Smash updates, I certainly wouldn't mind.
EDIT: And eventually, sure, but this month? I doubt it.

As soon as SSBB is released, I would like for y'all to give out codes on how to unlock characters, without mentioning the secret character's name. For some examples: CHARACTER 1: Beat Classic Mode with any character. CHARACTER 2: Beat Classic Mode with CHARACTER 1. CHARACTER 3: Beat EVENT MATCH 32. What I mean about EVENT MATCH 32, is that I mean what if it mentions a secret character's name or what if it said something like "The Triforce Gathering", meaning that Ganondorf is unlockable. This week's next two updates will either be: |A.| Marth + other |B.| The castle stage + other |C.| Marth + the castle stage OR |D.| Two others What I mean about "other" is that it could be something else. Thankyou so much! I'd love that! And regarding the whole a newcomer a month thing, well, there's still Snake left. There's only 4 months til' December (including August) minus Snake there's 3, minus Ike there's 2, so I don't think we have anything to worry about. |
