From Fire Emblem, Ike appears! The fact that he can wield a two-handed sword with a single hand is a testament to his magnificent strength.

His brings his special move "Aether" with him as he crashes the Brawl party. Try for a single-stroke finishing blow with his mighty blade!

Not sure how similar they can be when one holds his sword with two hands. I'll bet Marth is fast while Ike is slower but more powerful.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the next stage to be revealed will be the Akanea Castle stage.

And I reckon the next RETURNING character to be revealed will be Captain Falcon.

I was already thinking FE stage and Marth character were this week - so while its not exactly accurate I could be along the right lines, possibly.

And robbypants - The fact that he can wield a two-handed sword with a single hand - so he's a one handed sword fighter. Uh oh for Marth?

EDIT: Or is Marth the two-handed sword fighter you mention? I've never paid any attention to them to be honest.

Whoa! I never played a Fire Emblem game outside of Sacred Stones, so I never knew who "Ike" was when you all kept mentioning him. He freaking rocks!

I was kinda hoping for a Captain Falcon confirmy this week, but I'll take Ike (My sig will be updated when I get home; my work computer doesn't have the tools I need to fix it.)

So what does this mean for Marth now that there's another spiky-blue-haired FE protagonist amongst the ranks--and as a starting character at that? Although Ike and Marth seem to have completely different styles; Marth always appears to be dancing when using his sword whereas Ike strikes me as more of a sword-brawler like I figured Samurai Goroh would have been.

Haha, bravo! They are already showing newcomers! That may explain the delay.

Since this is not a Japan-exclusive character (or the game series he comes from) anymore, I wonder if it's time to include a character from another Japan-only game series.
