I had been thinking of how to make Muddy Mole work as a fighter. I'm too lazy to make a complete moveset that includes the regular moves, but you can be sure he fights with claws (think Mogu from Breath of Fire). But I came up with his special moves based off his only game, Mole Mania.
B: he opens his arms wide open as if he's waiting for a hug... then when he grabs an opponent, you have two options. You can either charge up to kick the opponent straight ahead (tilt the stick forward while holding B) or charge up to toss the opponent overhead (tilt the stick backward while holding B)... this is more powerful than standard forward and backward throws.
Side B: Muddy pulls out the iron ball out of nowhere and charges the ball.... let go of the B button while tilting the stick forward to launch the ball straight ahead... let go of the B button while tilting the stick backward to launch the ball overhead straight behind... you cannot use the move again if your ball is already on the stage (just like Wario's bike and R.O.B.'s gyro)
Up B: the spiked wheel he used against the kangaroo boss of world one is what Muddy uses for the third jump... he pulls out the spiked wheel and leaps on it, he immediately launches really high with a funny-looking expression of pain in his face... try not to spam this move.. you hurt yourself when you use this move (maybe 4%).... but then again, anyone who leaps on Muddy's spiked wheel will be launched off the stage, especially when they have high damage.
Down B: he leaps and nosedives to the ground and burrows in a hole... while Muddy is underground, he can trap opponents like the Pitfall item when they walk past Muddy, use this opportunity to lay a smash attack on your trapped opponent.... if Muddy is underground on a pass-through like the floating platform in Smashville, the opponent will just fall through.... so this move is really effective when Muddy is in the air above an opponent standing on a pass-through platform.. to get out of your hole, just press down + B again.
Final Smash - this is called the Flash of Sundes... Sundes is the sun boss of world 2. The grinning sun descends from the sky then Muddy leaps and burrows underground.... soon, the sun starts to frown and brighten the screen with his sunny fury and burn all opponents and then the sun bursts, KOing the opponents and is looking exhausted and ascends to the sky... Muddy pops out from the hole without a sunburn.
