Seriously... If you don't know something, google it or ask the person to repeat the question instead of spamming. And God, Man-Frog... you just keep on perfecting the art of spamming, especially if a new person is involved, huh? Just because he's new doesn't mean he's retarded. In other words... Stop posting "idk wut u talkin' 'bout" and nothing else. It's not only Spam, but freaking annoying and quite childish (the negative kind).
*breathes in... and out*
While it would take time, one can import a model from another game into Brawl. It's done all the time with stages! I mean... I don't think this Model is found anywhere on the Brawl Game Disc:
Characters theoretically would be a lot tougher and time consuming, but totally doable as far as I know. There are people who are trying to make Shadow (using a slightly modified Sonic model and modifying his moveset), Waluigi (using his SSBB model) and Mewtwo (modifying Lucario's Moveset) for Brawl.
And just so you get an idea on how long it takes to make a character... I made a personal, 2-second long Taunt for Falco, which is basically the Dair, but longer, done while floating in midair and moving forward, backward and back to the starting place. That job, which consisted in JUST copying coordinates took me hours. Sure, it was my first job ever, but it's a two second Taunt. With no hitboxes (another tough situation for character making).

You couldn't make these. It's easy to hack and skin things, but to insert completely new content? Sure, I guess it's possible, but it hasn't been done yet and I doubt it will be soon.
No, those so called custom characters places like Stack Smash have made don't count. They use pre-existing things in the game's coding.
thats i mean't you could edit your least favorite character on stack smash and turn into (almost) a completely different character
Okay. Hack in Arceus. Hack in Onox. Hell, hack in Krystal. It can't be done, at least not right now, because Arceus is a horse-thing, Onox is a gigantic freaking hulk with a ball and chain, and Krystal is a female furry who may or may not have a staff. None of these models exist in Brawl. And that's where hacking customs falls apart: It only works if the character a) has a sword, hammer, bow, or fights unarmed and b) follows an already-existant character's model.
EDIT: That being said, if Shadrio's right, it's not TOO far off, but it'd probably take weeks if not months to do it.
You think someone just took months to make that? I'd kill to have that grade of character making.
Of course... there is one thing I'm not 100% sure off. Character model importing&modifying. I think that I'd have to at least cover up another character to add a new one (like one of the Alloys, which is normally done to add Wisp and Zero into Rosters). I'll test this summer... I'll have lot's of time...
The problem with hacking is the effects have to be in the game. So you're not really creating new things- you're giving it the effect of DK's giant punch, Lucario's Aura Sphere, etc. So what we are left with is essentially glorified skins.
And no, Shadrio, Man-Frog wasn't spamming. What the poster said was nonsense that was in no way a comprehensible post. Man-Frog was saying what most of us were thinking.

It would indeed be interesting to make these movesets real. If someone had the dedication anyway. Another alternative would be M.U.G.E.N or similar stuff.
A video of that Dragon Ball stage is where I learned you could replace songs and replace their actual names in the game. I love how they kept the rule that in Dragon Ball arenas, you lose if you touch the ground outside the arena.

Nester the Lark: Here's an archive of results from the Everybody Votes channel. I found my poll question in the US English section for September 1, 2009.

nocturnal YL: Do you consider yourself to be more of a ... Romantic: 39.1% Realist: 60.9% This one, right? So… what's your own vote to that question? (I'd have picked realist.)

Nester the Lark: ^ At the time, I think I picked romantic. Not sure what I'd pick today. I feel like I'm somewhere in between.

Nester the Lark: Lately, the forum feels more like "Nester & YL's clubhouse."

nocturnal YL: Looking at the other members' last online date, I can safely say that this place is pretty much inactive by now.

Nester the Lark: Looking at an old post I wrote two years ago, I noticed I misspelled "threw" as "through," and now I'm angry at myself.

nocturnal YL: …Why am I still seeking gaming news when I have 7 games yet to complete and at least 2 more that I plan to get? (EDIT — Oh right, Ys IX has a confirmed release date. That makes at least 3 games I'll get later.)
Jun 14, 2021 10:18:41 GMT -5
nocturnal YL: My current plan is to play Atelier Firis DX now, which online guides suggest is long. Atelier Lydie & Suelle DX will likewise be long (longer than the original too, due to DLC, DX additions and I'll make the best items). I'll maybe play Ys Origin after.
Jun 14, 2021 10:28:43 GMT -5
nocturnal YL: Not sure about what I'll play after. Another Atelier game will probably be out by then, either completing the Secret series or giving us Arland 5. Either way, I'll probably play those before going elsewhere. Dusk will have to wait for quite a bit…

Nester the Lark: Wondering if I should get Mario Golf at launch or wait a couple of months. I have so many other things to play that my gaming (and wallet) might need a little breathing room.

Nester the Lark: The problem with playing Hyrule Warriors and a modern Ys game at the same time is that even though the combat feels somewhat similar, the controls are completely different, and I get confused.

Shrikeswind: Yeah I'm here, but kinda vaguely. Sorry, I haven't had too much to say lately.

Shrikeswind: By the way, I don't know if you guys have been keeping up with OCR on YouTube, but apparently they're dropping an album for a game I grew up on, Jet Force Gemini. Really pumped; I'll post a review when they finish.

Shrikeswind: Or at least when my Top 3 from that game are on the Toobz. Just one more song to go.

Nester the Lark: I feel like I've been neglecting the forum more than usual lately. Been distracted by other things. I'll try to post something when I get the chance.
Jul 16, 2021 10:38:22 GMT -5
nocturnal YL: I don't have time to make posts. Atelier Firis DX takes forever to play. When I'm not playing, I'm in a read-only mode, reading guides and watching (unrelated) videos.
Jul 17, 2021 13:25:38 GMT -5
nocturnal YL: On that note, I'll probably make a review on the whole trilogy, so it will be a while until I talk about these games in details here. I can say Atelier Firis DX has far exceeded my expectation and has taken over Totori as my 3rd fav.
