If the dude stole it then it's definitely fake. You don't "steal" official box art that nobody else has seen yet. Just add a step to the process: some guy made it to psych people out, then some other guy stole it for the same purpose and also to take credit for it. Prime example... this bitch is a fantastic artist. No doubt about it, some of the best Pokémon art I've ever seen. But she decided one day that she was very clever when hype for what the new DP starters would be was at its maximum. She let the pictures--very tiny at the time, thumbnails at best--loose anonymously and let the fires roar. She even admits her guilt below the picture. So I call shenanegans on this SSBB boxart. Fucking right. |

Doesn't seem to disprove it to me. We have already seen SMG's boxart, so we'll probobly see Brawl's too.
But that was a nice box art.....

Wario was one of the first things that irked me when I first saw the boxart. Look at his eyes and teeth... they're so white! I'm by no means an expert artist, but all of the contrast in this image seems like a bit of a mess... For example, Red and Pikachu look so dull compared to Mario's vibrant colouring. I wouldn't be surprised if this was fanmade.
