This song surely gave us the shivers when we first heard it. But will it be the song for the intro of the game? I don't get what he means by "here and there throughout the game".

I don't get what he means by "here and there throughout the game". Maybe in the subspace emmisary. By the way... I was right that there would be three updates!

It's nice to see this music come to the site and in such a good music themed update as well.
Did you say that yesterday after the double update or was that a while ago?

Eh... it sounds a little better now. I guess it's grown on me. Still a little pretentious for my tastes, though. Wait, it's by the guy who does the Final Fantasy music? I guess that explains it.

It doesn't sound as loud as the one heard in the preview web site.

I don't get what he means by "here and there throughout the game". I think he means that there will be many variations of the main theme. See 2nd trailer.

This song is probobly for the opening. Chances are that there itr will also play the variations on other courses, like Final Destination.

Yeah, there you go. Final Fantasy is full of that kind of attitude, and I'm sure the composer hasn't yet gotten off his lofty throne. I'm just glad he's only composing this song and nothing else will have the Latin lyrics. I swear to god, the song would be great if it weren't for them. I prefer the instrumental versions we heard in the NintendoWorld 06 trailer and the 15 Second Trailer we saw after E3 this year.

Butm, then again, I'm not terribly picky when it comes to music. I understand what you mean. it is pretty pretensious, but there probobly there to set a mood. The game is more epic. This isn't your gran daddy's Smash. It has a story for pete sakes. While still pretensious (Latin=EPIC!!), it works.

I think there's a fine line between "epic" and just trying too hard to be "artistic". This song gets quite close to that line, but it doesn't quite cross it. Would prefer it without the Latin, though.

Well at least it isn't this. Anyway I like the Latin lyrics. And while I'm not a huge fan of Game music with any lyrics at all, I'm just fine with this. The version with lyrics will likely only appear as the opening song; the Instrumental will appear everywhere else.

I expect it will work a treat alongside an intro video showing all the characters. By the way, anyone else notice... there are actual lyrics supplied by Masahiro Sakurai and translated to Latin. What on Earth could they be!? Any Latin majors here?
