I know ratings are stupid, but what do you think about the age rating of Brawl would be?
Somehow... I'm guessing "Teen" or perhaps "Mature" for ESRB (and I'm guessing a zero chance of "Everyone" or "E10+"), and "12+" or "15+" for CERO and PEGI. Solely for Snake's inclusion.
Originally, having an extra character is perfectly fine, but now we're seeing that so much stuff about Metal Gear is put in, including Snake being a possible womanizer and close-to-mature-content elements put in.
But then... look at an awesome series called Fire Emblem. The FE games on GBA are merely rated "Everyone" although I guess they deserve "Teen" or something, seeing ESRB's attitude to have games absolutely sticken to political correctness and how they treat SSBM.
Therefore... this time around, what do you think the raters, especially ESRB, will do?

E10. Seems perfect for it.

It's not going to be Mature. There's no blood or swearing. It'll be Teen at the very most. But to be honest, I'm expecting E10+. That's what I expect Melee would've been too, if that rating existed back then.
EDIT: Looking a little further into the ERSB rating system...
E10+ Titles in this category may contain more cartoon, fantasy or mild violence, mild language and/or minimal suggestive themes.
Teen Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language.
Mature Titles in this category may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language.
I don't know about you guys, but E10+ sounds like both Brawl and Melee to me.

Teen. Definitely Teen.

Melee got a Teen/11+ rating, so I'll expect Brawl to be the same.

Kirbychu pretty much layed it out. If there is no blood or sex, you'll pretty much won't get an M. My guess is E10. Snake alone wouldn't bring up the score as he's not swearing, shotting people dead, and no blood.

Yeah, it would be E10+ for ESRB. A minimal amount of teen content might make it fall into Teen, but I hope that doesn't happen.

Let's look at what Kirbychu said...
E10+ Titles in this category may contain more cartoon, fantasy or mild violence, mild language and/or minimal suggestive themes.
mild violence... I don't know if it's mild... mild language... check minimal suggestive themes... Again I don't know if that's minimal.
Teen Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language.
violence... Perhaps.... suggestive themes... check (Snake's comment on Zamus) crude humor... Nah. minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language... All no.
Now I guess I should adjust my opinion... Seeing this, maybe a E10+ is possible after all...

Crude humor? What about Wario's farting?
And I agree about Snake's comments on Zero Suit Samus would be "suggestive themes"
I'm expecting a "Teen" rating. I'd be surprised if it got "E10" rating but even so, it won't bother me anyway.

The game will almost definately have a Teen rating.
Anytime a character swings a sharp sword through a human-like character, that warrents a Teen rating... because they don't want kids thinking they can swing a sword or a knife into a person in real life. Blood or no blood, it's still violent. Melee was full of swords, and it got a T rating.

Shadow the Hedgehog was full of swords, guns, rocket launchers, cursing, and human soldier enemies and got an E10+ rating. Kills that theory.

What kind of cursing did Shadow the Hedgehog have? What kind of guns did Shadow the Hedgehog have?

It had actual bullet-firing guns. Pistols, rifles, bazookas, snipers... there was also a katana. The cursing was mild, but enough for the US to get upset about.

..............................okay. Then I don't get ESRB anymore. Its like if there's a drop of blood or a peek of skin, its rated M.

No, minimal blood is Teen. Did you read the descriptions I posted? It's all outlined there.
