And the Europeans players, even non-English speakers (like me), will have to stay quiet and suck those failures at general Western localization made by NOA Well, at least, WE can choose among the European languages for Pokémon voices. I really liked the French and German ones, specially Jigglypuff / Pummeluff / Rondoudou ;D

NAH! Ashley its like my least favorite Wario Ware Character, only the Old Master and the Young Cricket are below her in my scale. But this supports my theory that Ashley its the second if not the most popular Wario ware character which makes me sad for Mona, 8-Volt, Jimmy T and all the others.
And my choice for a vocal song of the Wario Series would have been the ending of Wario Land 4, I love that song...
...There are definitly a lot of better options for a vocal song in the wario series than Ashley Theme

IMO this has little to do with the character's popularity (unless there's a poll somewhere?). Her song was given high importance by the makers of the game since the beginning, placing it as a souvenir... Then again, Mona Pizza was a much more special souvenir, with a video and all.
I see it just as a song to remember WarioWare, and as such I'm fond of the remix.

Eh, it's an alright song.
Did someone make a subliminal message joke yet?

The song is fine and all, but my main complaint is that she sounds like she's singing on Broadway! That does not fit the mood of "Super Mario Bros. Brawl"

I think NOA got the wrong message and they thought they had to just pick a singer to sing a song. In that sense, they nailed it. They didn't want to make Ashley sing about herself in English, but rather pick a singer to sing something about Ashley, singing in third person. There is no way the ecstastic singer in the English version was put there to represent Ashley personality. I think everybody can reach that simple conclusion. Yeah, that'd be excellent reasoning, but listen to the song again. The vocalist clearly sings "You better learn my name" etc etc. And the vocalist's myspace entry states that she was singing the song as the role of Ashley. If your theory was correct, I'd probably have far less of a problem with the song, but there seems to be more support towards the "Treehouse is either apathetic or stupid" theory. Sorry. It's because the Japanese singer is so far off it's not in the same room. Heck, it's not even in the same universe. loli does not even come close to Ashely in any way shap or form. Not even if the singer is singing about Ashely. It's way to childish. Ashely is 12, pre-teen years. The singer is about 5. The US one is 17 at worst. That's still closer to age then Japanese one. (By how old the voice is, not the actual singer). Teenage>Girl so young she can't even be in creepy pornography. It's not exact, but come so much closer to Ashely in terms of personality then the Japanese sing will ever be. They made that mistake of cute. On Japan makes far to often.

It's just a woman singing Ashley's Theme, is the too young too old really such a big problem? Her theme song doesn't have to be sung by Ashley herself or whatever. I'm pretty sure Captain Falcon doesn't sing his own theme song in GX if I can name a goofy example.

We don't know Ashley is 12. She could be anywhere between 5 and 12, really. We only know she's in elementary school. XD

"Don't be fooled by her innocent demeter". So, innocence is out of the question, and a younger voice does that.

No. "Don't be fooled by her innocent demeanor" is saying that she has an innocent demeanor, but not to be fooled by it. She walks around carrying a little stuffed rabbit! These are the clues, people! Her Japanese voice is very, very young-sounding. Obviously the developers chose that voice for a reason.

Wow, now I know how it felt to be on the other side of the ExciteBike thing last week. XD
I don't really have anything to contribute that I haven't already said. I personally dig it. It captures WarioWare's flavor. But as Fry said, Sakurai can't please everybody with every update.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to work on a post for the Music thread. This update gots me in the mood.

So that only means good..........well, most of the time.
