Why couldn't we have a world-wide release on December 3rd? wizzleing Nintendo. Because its not ready? I don't want this thing rushed even in the slightest.

Japan's getting it January 24th and US is getting it Feb. 10th.
I hope all of you understand just how angry I am. They delayed it for more than 2 MONTHS. They doubled the time we have to wait now. "Get ready to brawl 2007" Yeah... piss off....

Remember Twilight Princess? They delayed it for a whole year, and it still felt like something was missing from it to me.
If Sakurai thinks he needs more time, he should take more time. The last paragraph in today's update made it clear that he's still not done trying to add everything he wants.

And this delay was innevitable. It's true how big this game is. And it looks like it's hitting home.

Here's something that'll be of absolutely no interest to anyone outside the Sonic fanbase... Around 2005, Sega replaced the not-exactly-brilliant-but-not-too-bad original Sonic cast with the ear-bleedingly-awful 4Kids Sonic cast. Fans have been protesting almost constantly ever since, but Sega have mostly ignored them. Now, apparently, Nintendo are saying that if enough people want it, they'll ditch the 4Kids voice that's currently in Brawl, and hire the original actor instead. I have a feeling the Nintendo reps may just be humouring these guys, but if it's true it's certainly interesting that Nintendo are willing to go that far to please the Sonic fans.
