so in the newest EGM Live podcast, Shane Bettenhausen insists that every single playable character in Brawl has already been revealed. can we call this the least likely rumor ever? Yeah I think that's total nonsense. Otherwise... why would Sakurai have gone on about that whole "finding out about hidden characters when playing online" thing in the "with everyone" update? He said it himself... there are hidden characters. Maybe he meant starters... which is a very likely scenario. |

As with SSBM, I won't believe anything until January 30th arrives. The rumours will flow freely and with great aplomb for the next few days. Then the final roster will appear and we'll all be like...
"Huh, weird. Wasn't expecting that!"
And it'll be awesome.

Hey guys! I have been honored by the only 12-year old who has access to Brawl's roster! I'm not going to put spoilers, because of it's fakeness, but if you believe this kid (who PM'd me on another forum I visit), then look away now. I'm sharing this because it's different from most of these that I read.
To be honest, this is a pretty good 40-man roster, and I'd be thrilled if it's real especially since there's no Young Link!

Huh, Prof. Hector. I haven't seen him in any other roster. But Pac-Man is an iffy thing. I say fake.

I think the downfall of many fake rosters are the third party characters. Professor Hector is creative though.

I've been against alternate incarnations of the same character from day one. I have no desire to see a different Link from a different LoZ game, nor do I want Paper Mario. They'd make fine trophies.

Paper Mario would be a great playable character, moveset-wise, but yeah, the fact that Mario is already in the game makes him somewhat less appealing.

Hmm, Professor Hector...a perfect alternative to R.O.B.
Shame WW Link isn't on there, I'm all for him (or any good WW representation, really). Still, a very nice-looking roster. And no Wolf, either! (too bad this is fake...)

Paper Mario would be a great playable character, moveset-wise, but yeah, the fact that Mario is already in the game makes him somewhat less appealing. Hmm, I can't think of anything new Paper Mario could do, aside from his hammer, but how many hammer characters do we need? Anyways, WW Link could be a new and fun character, blah blah blah, I've said this a thousand times. |

Oh. My. God. Super w00t. Its so epic. The part with Meta Knight and Ike surrounded by Primids is mega epic.
Now all we need is some Mr. Game and Watch confirmation and the veterens will be set!
