I know many of you already say it, but today's update totally destroys this theory ;D (as well as lowers the chances for a Animal Crossing playable character) Of course, we could also get a pictochat character, but he would be to similar to Mr. Game and Watch.

Yeah, Pikmin would be great. I always wanted to play as Captain Olimar since 2001.  As for what comes after Touch! Generation, I simply have no clue. I'd be shocked if Tin Star (Tin Star) or Harry (Teleroboxer) came after Touch! Generation. Tin Star is an obscure US-only character from an obscure SNES game and Harry is an obscure character from an obscure game for the obscure Nintendo system (Virtual Boy). |

But are there that many Nintendo myths? I reckon I'd run out of content sooner or later. And besides... I never really understood the whole grid thing... I can't debunk something I don't understand.

I'd rather go with digging up an old idea of mine that I thought to be dead and modifying it a bit:
Captain DS!
Now that would be worth the price of admission!

Your old idea consisted in a revamped Captain N, right? If so, I think I remember seeing it. It would be cool if some fighting form of R.O.B. was playable. That or a living Game Boy. As for the DS icon, it will probably only be used for this stage and maybe an item. For another recent system example, a Wii icon could be used for Mii and perhaps a Wii Remote item. |

Yes, the icon theory is debunked. Good riddance. Based on the icon theory, we would hardly get any good characters at all (like anything that the 19th spot could take when you go by it alphabetically).
