I imagine a Wii stage would have (...ugh, can't believe I'm saying this...) Miis as the representative of choice. A level would probably be based on the channels you can download on your Wii--maybe even have some based on the VC titles you're currently storing. It'd shift, like WarioWare.
The N64 level should inexcusably take place on a giant N64, because the shape of the damn thing would make great terrain. Again, not much in the way of playable representatives, though. Except for the "NINTENDO SIXTY-FOUUUUUUR" Kid.
The GameCube era could be represented by the Operations Menu--you know, when you turn the system on and there's no game inside, or the lid is open, or if you hold down A. The menus could shift between the four different options the GCN had.
SNES could be another shifting level that takes place in various epic SNES-era games. This way you get a retro level for, like, Super Mario World, LttP, Star Fox, F-Zero, Earthbound, Yoshi and Super Metroid all in one go.
As for the NES...well, that's a good question. I don't know, really. Maybe on top of a giant ROB. Or a Zapper. Or something.
Not forgetting a Virtual Boy stage where the only colours available are red and black. ;D |

I realized this morning that I completely neglected all the handhelds and the Virtual Boy, with the exception of the DS. Oops!
I kinda like the VB themed one. Just watch out for the stage's natural hazards: seizures and headaches.

I have seen this before, the good thing, its that we are not getting any Squarenix characters ;D. As Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, Kingdom Hearts all come before "M" (A little bit sad for Chono and the original Dragon Quest Chars, but its a small price to pay to keep Brawl free of Sephiroth, Cloud and Sora) but this also kills several potential franchises: -Joy Mech Fight -Custom Robot  -Chibi Robo (or does this have other name in Japan) -Ballon Fight -Match Rider -Clu clu land -Duck Hunt Also we can only have Panepon, Pikmin, Rockman or Takamaru as all fit in number 19 but not two of those. Finally, after Sonic we can have: -Star Tropics (YES!) -Street Fighter -Tin Star (in a million years) -Tomato Adventure (YES!) -Wars (unless its franchise name its famicom wars) (DOUBLE YES!) -and many others which I don't know Some other franchises we can count out this way, even if their probabilities were close to zero are: -Eternal Darkness -Banjo-Kazooie -Halo Tomato Adventure, YES YES YES! Demille and Aresa are great characters! You could create a great story for them in Adventure! |

It's awesome that there's still an infinite number of spots +1 XD
Too bad that one leaker, FForceSultan, was debunked because I really would've loved seeing slot 19 going to Nazo or StarTropics.
