I do believe this is true. It would just one of those conservative things we've seen from the udpates (excluding Pokémon Trainer).

If I were designing the game, I'd personally not vote for bringing back Jigglypuff, but heck, many people like the Pokémon.

To be honest, she is a little obnoxious. She's initially very attractive, but after a while she sends off a vibe that's like... "I'm a cute girl and I like video games... I WILL EXPLOIT THIS TO GET ATTENTION" and the fact that she actually calls herself ULTRANEKO is a little barf. But she isn't obnoxious on a G4 scale, and you can tell she's actually a fan of whatever games she's talking about (makes you wonder if she was dressing up for us or for Hayter in that video ), so I dunno, I don't think she's that bad. The extreme bubblyness of her voice can be a bit grating, though.

Anyways, despite all that I still thought it was funny that there is a video of a HOT GIRL in a NURSE OUTFIT on the internet and the first thing that anyone notices here is David Hayter saying the word "Jigglypuff".

She's a little annoying, but I'd say it's mostly just because she seems giddy with excitement over meeting the voice of Solid Snake. XD

Well, at least she knows what she's talking about! Pretty much everyone else who we've heard thirdhand SSB info from has been absolutely clueless...

Also, for shits and giggles I researched what I could in the way of character voice actors. Ridley and Geno have never had actual spoken lines (and Ridley has never said anything period, in text or audio), and (having only played Pikmin for maybe ten minutes before growing frustrated) I'm pretty sure Olimar didn't either, leaving me with Megaman--whose latest voice actor is Cole Howard, from Megaman Powered Up. Unfortunately, Wikipedia and IMDB have yielded nothing, and a quick Google search hasn't yielded a personal website, like the actresses for Krystal and Ashley have. Honestly, I dunno why I even bothered.

Olimar had a voice in Pikmin 2, but it was pretty much restricted to him saying his name when you switch to him. No idea who provided it, but it sounded heavily digitally altered. It's extremely deep.

I've really wanted Jigglypuff in this game because my friend can't wrap his head around "Snake vs. Jigglypuff". In fact I have a counter on Firefox that counts down to Brawl's release and it says the time followed by "until Alex watches Snake get killed by Jigglypuff".

So it's kinda funny to me that David Hayter mentioned Jigglypuff.

I want Jiggly back because Jiggly is one of my best characters. I loved her in SSB64, though usually preferred Kirby - then when Kirby was messed up in Melee, Jigglypuff took over. I love her aerial attacks and smash attacks more than her specials (though once you have Rest down, it's great too).

And yes, Jiggly vs. Snake is weird. But more weird than Sonic vs. Mario? Yeah, maybe.

Sonic vs. Mario is weird in a different way than Jiggly vs. Snake. Sonic and Mario are at least from the same sort of genre.

Meh, I'm getting kinda tired of playing as Jigglypuff.. Which is why I wanted a new Pokemon to play with, like Meowth. But still, Jigglypuff is one of my best characters in Melee.

Personally I think we won't get any more new Pokemon besides Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard. Why? Because fans have been whining about how they hate Pokemon and don't want any more Pokemon in Smash. So I'm pretty sure Sakurai bypassed that by adding only one new Pokemon character with three new playable Pokemon. I mean, that's why we didn't get Meowth (the most likely after Red in the Melee poll) and Gardevoir (the only Pokemon in the Brawl poll) among other Pokemon. So I'm not holding my breath for Blaziken and Lucario and any new Pokemon. I think we will only have Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, and Pokemon Trainer, with Pichu removed.
