Meh, I'm getting kinda tired of playing as Jigglypuff.. Which is why I wanted a new Pokemon to play with, like Meowth. They should kick out Mario. I'm sick of him. Link too. |

Meh, I'm getting kinda tired of playing as Jigglypuff.. Which is why I wanted a new Pokemon to play with, like Meowth. But still, Jigglypuff is one of my best characters in Melee. Personally I think we won't get any more new Pokemon besides Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard. Why? Because fans have been whining about how they hate Pokemon and don't want any more Pokemon in Smash. So I'm pretty sure Sakurai bypassed that by adding only one new Pokemon character with three new playable Pokemon. I mean, that's why we didn't get Meowth (the most likely after Red in the Melee poll) and Gardevoir (the only Pokemon in the Brawl poll) among other Pokemon. So I'm not holding my breath for Blaziken and Lucario and any new Pokemon. I think we will only have Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, and Pokemon Trainer, with Pichu removed. Becuase neither Meowth or Gardevoir were not likely from the begining. If you thought they were, then stop predicting now. |

Jigglypuff doesn't fit my style of play; I need someone heavier. I do like to use her for training, though.
Anyway, I think that Dave probably knows what he's talking about, so I'll put down Jigglypuff with Krystal as semi-confirmed.

Jiggles isn't my best character, but I can still lay out a fair amount of whoopass with her when necessary. ;D She needs to come back, since she and Pichu are the only characters that can cause penile shrinkage when you beat somebody with 'em (and Pichu's chances ain't that great). I still prefer mid-heavyweight-classed characters like Falco and Captain Falcon, but Jigglypuff is without a doubt a character to be wary of.

Do you seriuosly think that?! They are the most important characters in Nintendo. There is no reason for them to be removed, plus Mario is one of my favorite characters. |

Relax, Snake. he was kidding. You know? It's really hard to tell wither one is kidding or not in the internet, cause you really can't see each others faces (although in real life, I have difficulty telling wither people are kidding or not). |

As for the whole Pokemon thing, we really don't need any more Pokemon. Six Pokemon (Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Squirtle, Charizard, Ivysaur) are enough, anymore would just be very ugly. Brawl would be very dull if everyone got their wish and got all their favorite Pokemon (or all their favorite Fire Emblem characters, or all their favorite Zelda characters). |

Agreed, but so was Samurai Goroh--and F-Zero doesn't have the too-many-characters issue. I think it boils down to the first generation just being the most significant. We wouldn't even have had Pichu if Sakurai didn't put in clones--and I imagine Pichu was just an easy clone to make given the nature of the Pokémon games.
