 If Snake is going to be joining the brawl, then it should be fine to have someone else from the Metal Gear world join as an Assist Trophy, right?

He slices over and over with his back-handed grip.By the way, he reflects projectiles. PA-SHEEN! It's a pity that Ocelot can't be a AT because he is a real weapon (a colt)...

Nice to see this confirm's 3rd party AT. Now the possibilities of AT ideas can open up . . .
It's nice to see with all the sword wielding AT's they can keep coming up with new idea's for each one to keep it interesting.
@parrothead why are you posting these an hour after they show up on the official site, I know it's daylight savings is involved by why is this still happening? I'll be happy to volenteer to post the updates on this forum if you need a break from it.

Rad, I guess in a way this confirms it was Tails as AT people saw at E-for-All. Haven't played the original MGS yet (SHAME), but I saw my brother beat the game, and the awesome scene of Gray Fox's end is burned in my mind. Movie-like scenes were rare back in those days afterall. So yes, I approve this AT. e: Hurr, I forgot there was the gamecube remake. Here's a link to the scene of the remake, with better graphics, worse voiceacting and Portuguese subtitles! |

That's THREE Assist trophies that use Katanas. And not a single playable character uses a Katana.
Fry... prepare for a Takamaru Assist trophy.

Damn, I don't like being 3rd party characters in this game at all, even though I really liked MGS: The Twin Snakes and a couple of Sonic games.

Yes, but when I finally got used to the idea that AT showed up. I'd hoped they sticked to just the characters, not also stages, AT's, maybe items too. >_>

I don't see why third-party characters should get lesser treatment than everyone else. If they're in, they might as well feel like part of the game, rather than hasty last-minute additions.

Yes I know, but personally I liked the idea of a compilation of all Nintendo icons better, and with just one 3rd party character It'd be more like a kameo or extra rather than being fully part of the game. Ah well, indeed a little late to baw for it now, but when I saw that assist throphy it just spitted out of my mouth.  |

If Snake is going to have an assist trophy, Grey Fox (AKA Ninja) was a good choice. Too bad they aren't making good use of his stealth camo. Maybe they're saving it for Snake's Final Smash.

Pretty cool. Never played Twin Snakes though, so I don't know anything about Gray Fox He's a cool character though ;D |

Yeah, Gray Fox was a Bad-a. I'd agree, good choice. Of course, I want to see the Tails AT.

Doesn't really confirm Tails being an Assist Trophy yet, since the people watching it could still have been wrong. While the possibility is more open now than it was before, it doesn't mean the people who saw it knew what the balls they were talking about XD
Also, Gray Fox looks cool. He has an awesome suit of things.
And couldn't Ocelot be in without using a colt? Not every AT needs to be offensive. Not like I know anything about Ocelot *shrug*
