The lava doesn't necessarily need to be a hazard, though. it could be something off in the background. Really, a Bowser's Castle without lava is hardly a Bowser's Castle at all ;D

Wait, would it be Super Mario World style Blargg, or Yoshi's Island style Blargg. They ARE supposed to be the same, after all.

As promised:

This will be a fun stage. Loaded with small platforms, hovering over burning lava, and with 7 Koopa Kids throwing objects into the ring, it will be a chaotic battle to stay alive. Larry will toss Mecha Koopas, Morton will roll across the large platform of the stage, Wendy will stun someone with her rings, Iggy will make the lava rise, Roy will launch fireworks across the stage, Lemmy will throw his ball and it will bounce across the stage, and Ludwig will breathe fire out of a window. Quite the dangerous stage, but it ought to be a blast.

Well, I did do a rough sketch of the stage (minus the Koopalings)...but it's not all that lively compared to my imagination concept.
