Rooster 4 Brawl!!!!!!11!!111!11!1!twelve Nintendo should publish a game whose main character is a chicken. Or Mario should travel to a Chicken Island and find a Chicken Mushroom or something. If K. Rool or Pac-Man happen to be playable, this February could be even happier than I expected. If K. Rool is playable, I hope they give him those screams that he and the Krusha / Kruncha made when they were stomped on. Do you guys remember them? They were hilarious. |

What happened is I wrote the heading for this thread and called it the "R ooster Thread" and everybody picked on me.  Nah, really I don't care. And King K Rool is a must for me as well as Pac-Man. Though I would prefer Mega Man. |

I'll say this. -Think Falcon will be a starter with all the stuff for his franchise -No more third party characters. Would have shown them by now -Geno, Ridley and Krystal next most suggested characters -Falco and Ganondorf added due to popularity of the two characters (especially amounts smash fans). -No AC character as I don't think the franchise will get a character (hope to be wrong though) -I really think Sakurai will throw in one character which no one will expect. May or may not be Game&Watch like(as in WTF) |

I sent a PM detailing this but this is starting to get out of hand. It's madness at the highest level, worse then Smashboards. I understand it if it's needed but a straight list doesn't warrant a deletion but a slap on the wrist. It's by no means a serious offense. |

Wonk wonk wonk. Doesn't mean it's justified. Doesn't also mean a rule can't be wrong. The point is that deleting a post just because it's a list is wrong, and shouldn't be acceptable on any message board. It was always something to adhere to, but it should never never never never never never never ever be something that warrants a deletion. My problem is that these deletions are getting to be way to much. Deleting a thread becuase it had spoilers or was a list with out explanation. Can someone tell me why that should be a rule that warrants a deletion WITHOUT saying "It's a rule" or a variation of that. Sorry, but this is starting to feel like a totalitarianism. Shouldn't these things be expected rather then forced? I may be over reacting, but seriously, it's starting to feel where this MB is going. It has always been a great one where we can be serious and not at the same time, but we can't have these things be forced. I know the SSBB board is worse then the other message boards but I'm starting to think this "axe" idea is terrible, and that we should move back to less moderation and more expectance. It's worked in the past. |

Now I'm not Fryguy, nor do I make the rules, but all the posts that I've seen that have been deleted don't add to discussion in anyway - its either a list that people probably aren't going to read (see this thread), or a point thats been made repeatedly (see the character threads such as the Geno one). And if a post doesn't promote discussion, whats the point of it? Discussion is what forums are for.
...that being said, and its contrary to the above paragraph, but I would like to see one final 'Super Duper Prediction Thread' before release where we list what we think will be in (character lists, stage lists, etc) just to see who is closest to the actual content. Whether this could be that thread I dunno, but whatever.
So, to sum up, yeah, overreact much?

Smashchu, you're doing a lot of worrying about nothing. Before the Axe came into play, tension was strung just a teeeeensy bit too high here...or did you already forget about that? In any case, if you're unhappy here, nobody is forcing you to stick around. DiU is right.
