I dunno what to make of this...
Logic tells me that this DOES confirm those guys...but part of me won't believe it until I see them on the Dojo...
I guess I'll just wait and see.

This pretty much confirms the major leakers going around claiming a 35 character roster where the current unknowns are by and large veterans.
Oy vey... No Geno. No Ridley. No Krystal. No Mewtwo. But Ness? Wolf? Wind Waker Link?
...this is heavy. *sulks*
It also means that Sakurai "spoiled" all the really fresh and cool characters on the DOJO already; there's really no surprises left.
...except for R.O.B.....

Eh, this doesn't confirm or deny any rumormonger's "leak." All it does is confirm that three more characters are in the game. There's not enough there to say that Wolf is in, Ridley is out, etc. I'm sure in the next week or two more will be known, and we will be able to know the truth of the matter.

Anyway, I feel like you're reading too much into this, Flip...all it means is that Ness and Jigglypuff are back, and Lucario's in the game somehow. This doesn't even deconfirm Mewtwo 'cause we're not sure how the sticker-icon system works; what if character-specific stickers only show the icons of characters you have unlocked, and that version of the game didn't have Mewtwo unlocked yet? You know? So keep your hopes up, dude. There's still a whole ton of characters that could leap out of the bamboo and surprise us.(Like Takamaru.) |

But the entirety of Smashboards has gone insane. A few "fighting game champs" who live in Japan and apparently work with playtesting fighting games confirmed the roster that people have been posting. It agrees with all still-questionable "prophets," the person who called Sonic + video a few days before unveiling, the guy who called the Dragoon, and a few others. The ONLY person who seems to be disagreeing is Serebii, on the basis of "No Animal Crossing rep"--though that may be his personal opinion, as he doesn't know the entire roster. [/size][/color][/sub][/quote] WEll, first, let's try not to spoil it in this topic. Not really a spoiler topic. It really doesn't confirm the "leak" roster. Everyone said Jigglypuff, a good number said Ness and everyone said Lucario to replace Mewtwo (after the Serebii thing). I don't think the final roster will look like that, especially as the people who said that aren't that credible in the first place. Or could all be trolls combining their troll powers so that they may power the trolls day device and destroy the world in RAGE and 0/10. Oh, and there is the fact Krystal and Ridley were really highly requested where Wolf was not. |

Call me cynical, but it seems everyone is repeating the same old rumor over and over again. That could make it possible, yes, but it also could be that everyone wants to be the one who "called" the roster. I don't believe a lot of what other internet forumgoers outside of the two boards I frequent say as truth. Many people dream of being the one who nailed the roster at their board, I would guess, so no wonder it's spreading like wildfire. I could be wrong, and this could be the roster, but I doubt it. I don't think Wolf makes a lot of sense, R.O.B. being playable would be odd (since he's an standard enemy in the SSE, but it's conceivable), and there's little to no fresh faces left to be revealed as hidden. I just can't buy it. If next week this is all confirmed as truth, I'll eat my hat, to steal the cliche. But eh. I just think it's baseless internet conjecture at this point.
