Right now I'm stuck at the first Wily Fortress level with those lava streams. That's some Quickman sh it right there. They're really easy if you know what you're doing. On the second screen with them, immediatly Rush Coil up. On the next screen, jump down to the top lava streamer on the left. Then Rush Jet over to the ladders to the right.

The jpn version will be available in about half an hour so I thought I'd check out the 2ch Rockman 9 thread. It looks like Capcom hasn't announced any plans for a PSN or XBLA version. So that makes it a WiiWare exclusive in Japan. For the time being, anyway.

I've been playing it sparingly since getting it - I've only beaten Galaxyman so far. I almost beat Tornadoman, but I had an Airman Will Not Die moment with him and the bastard killed me on my last life before I could use my E-Tank. But I'm gonna try to really tackle it hard tonight between bouts of Kirby and Disgaea.
(This week is a busy one for me as a gamer. I knew about MM9, but had forgotten Kirby and Wario were this week as well; then I found out Lego Batman, De Blob and Disgaea DS were out this week, too. Yeesh! Makes up for having pretty much nothing over the summer.)

I'm going to reiterate that the achievements in this game are brutal. I just got done beating the Waltz (Beat it in 120 minutes), Tango (90 minutes)) and Jitterbug (60minutes) achievements. They are brutal.

IGN has a preview of Proto Man with videos. His theme music plays at the beginning of every level. However, he can't use the shop, and he can't use Energy Tanks. (Tho, apparently he can use that one Mystery Tank you collect in Skull Castle.) He also takes twice as much damage as Mega Man. And instead of Rush, he has the "Proto Coil" and "Proto Jet." Sounds tuff!

When you consider that 2 dollah is a fifth of the cost of the entire game - throw out another character, a boss mode, a soundtrack and I dunno whatever else and all of a sudden you can at least double that money. Or more.

Megaman's a robot, robots can't taste, therefor taste is irrelevant. On a sidenote, I downloadded the eternal maze stage. I got to 47 screens or something. Ofcourse the moment I checked the online leaderboards, which wasn't that long after release, the no.1 spot was taken by someone with 3700+ screens. ffffffffff In 6 months the top 10 will be stuffed with 99999 screen scores.

The speciel stage is out, for only 100 Wii Points. It's worth it- it has every mini boss in the game, plus the Shark Sub. It's extremely challanging (Mostly having to due with beating it in one life) and the boss is Fake Man, (Spoiler!)the fake police robot from earlier in the game!

Now to spice this thread up with this:
I love how they actually implemented personalities into the Robot Masters. They nailed Astro Man's right here, as far as I know.
