jaken23: Wow, your work is great as always! And I thought I wouldn't see videos or pictures from you until next year. ;D But as to the Piranha Plant, could you say what it actually does in the game? I really enjoyed Captain☆Rainbow. But it bombed so hard... Well at least it made it into the top 50. Same can't be said about Metroid Prime 3... Damn Japanese and their xenophobia. Are the Japanese really that xenophobic in terms of popular culture as you say? I recently found out that the Swiss claymation series "Pingu" which I know from my childhood is popular in Japan today.

When he meant Xenophobic, I think he meant as in only America. The Japanese just don't seem to like what we do, in terms of video games. They love American movies and music. But, yeah. The Xbox has always been the lowest selling system in Japan. 360 moved up, but only because of games like Final Fantasy and Blue Dragon. |

Like TV Eye said, more so for video games. Of course, the US is the leader in both the music and movie industry, so it might be why. The Japanese still have a dominance on the development side, so it may be part of the reason. Either way, they seem ti hate western games, at least most of the time. |

lol, his theme is in English and even uses his English name instead of Gitchoman. Reminds me of the spoken use of names like "Bowser" (Koopa) and "Isle Delfino" (Dolphic Island) in the cutscenes of Super Mario Sunshine (the voice acting is the same in the Japanese version AFAIK, although almost all names except for Mario and Peach are different). Thank you very much again for all the videos. This game has obviously a lot of catchy tunes. Man, I don't want to believe that the game could never make it to the west.  |

I love how close to the true design Little Mac is when he's thin. Breaks my theory first time 3D looks the best. Sorta.
Also I love how it looked like they had many thoughts on how Tracy would look in color. Hehe.
But.. I can't tell if any of the songs are remixes. The FC one sounds so much like a song from Famicom Wars but I don't hear anything in Birdo's or Devil's.

全っ然萌えねぇっつーの Anyway, Little Mac's Gallery should be up tomorrow. I think I might try recording some gameplay footage next week, Game Over screens etc Which means I'll be needing a video editor this time.  Any suggestions? |
