E3 has really been an event for gamers, especially Nintendo fans as ourselves becuase this is where Nintendo reveal 80% of their games. But with E3 2007, it seemed like the event was a hollow shell of it's former announcement glory. So why is it big again. Besides the hints at bit titles from E3, it was revealed that Nintendo would hold their press conference in the Kodak theater. If you don't know, this theater is one of the largest in the US seating 3.5 thousand people and was designed with the Oscars in mind. When not holding that, it is used for other event, and it isn't cheap. Nintendo did not use this theater for their 2007 event but they did for the 2006, which was huge to say the least. So it's expected this one could hold something big, especially becuase the only game in the future is Super Mario Sluggers. So take your bets. What will Nintendo show come July 15th. gonintendo.com/?p=43167

I was wondering if someone was going to make one of these threads soon.
Here's my predictions and info to back them up. I'm sorry for this being a little bit long.
Animal Crossing Wii, This game has been mentioned and has to get shown eventually.
Kid Icarus, Since some site broke an embargo on it, that's the reason why sites like IGN won't shut up about it being true.
Sin & Punishment 2, Treasure have said they are making 3-D games for the Wii and they have commented on a S&P sequel using the Wii remotes pointer function when making S&P on the VC.
New game from Q-Games, Dylan Cuthbert (the guy who worked on "X" and Starfox and also did Starfox Command) have said they are working on a game with Nintendo.
“We are working on a Nintendo DS title. Hopefully it will be announced soon, but we don’t know yet. It should finish up soon, but we don’t know when it will come out.” - Dylan Cuthbert
New Nintendo franchise/character Miyamnoto has said that he wanted to unveil a new franchise in (early) 2008. Miyamoto just recently has said that because of WiiWare he may try making a game all by himself like in early days of working on the orignal Donkey Kong.
New game of existing franchises using the Balance Board. like the rumored 1080 and WarioWare sequals.
Wii Music, It has to finally make an apperance already.
Mario Party 9, for some reason I'm not 100% sure on this one, maybe it will take a break this year?
Disaster: Day of Crisis, with images shown and a rumored release date for Japan from Famitsu this game has to appear again.
Game that no one saw coming er . . . Excitetruck 2?
Unlikely but could happen predictions.
Starfox Wii and major online/bunded headset. Pikmin 3.

I heard Nintendo will be focusing on it's franchises more and I figure we would see some of it at E3. Here's what I think what will be shown on the E3. - A trailer of the new Kid Icarus seems to be in the bag. - Maybe a handheld-like Pokemon game for the Wii. I think I read something about the team making the handheld ones not being forced to make another handheld sequel so they could focus on a Wii version or whatever. Might've been just another big fat rumour. - Official announcement with or without trailer of the rumoured new Starfox and Golden Sun 3. - Actual footage of Day of Crisis - A solution to the Wii's memory problem - No 15 second videoclips every 2 minutes of a bunch of people going 'Hey we're casual and shit and we play the Wii too!' - All 3 Earthbound games on a DS cartridge coming to the US hahahaha oh who am I kidding New Nintendo franchise/character Miyamnoto has said that he wanted to unveil a new franchise in (early) 2008. Miyamoto just recently has said that because of WiiWare he may try making a game all by himself like in early days of working on the orignal Donkey Kong. This sounds pretty damn exciting.

Reggie will go "people ask us about storage options. We say we've already got that covered". Cut to 'past downloads' channel that has a list of your past downloads for you to re-download. Reggie says its awesome.
Mario Party 9 announced.
Wii Dance announced. Miyamoto comes out and dances against Reggie. Nobody cares.
Conference over.

I think that's the thing about modern-day gaming: a lot of it is disappointingly mediocre, especially now that we're in the age of Casual Gaming Or Hardcore Gaming. There's no peaceful middle ground. What about us Midcore Gamers that like to pick up a title, have fun with it, and don't necessarily feel compelled to beat it? Nintendo's all but abandoned us, Microsoft is having fun pretending we don't exist, and Sony's too busy sucking wind to say anything.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love it if Dancey's prediction weren't goingt o happen, but for now it just seems too likely to come to pass.

I disagree, although funny and a perfect representation of 07. The problem is now we know nothing to very little about 08 and early 09. Nothing. So it leads me to beleive there will be something. So, my guesses are..... Day of Disaster-As of now, the game is still in production. So, with it still not out, I assume there will be something on it More Wiiware-Mostly from 3rd parties. I don't think Nintendo is as interested in it, but I beleive we'll see some games they are making for it Fire Emblem DS and Kirby Super Star DS-Probably not a lot on these because there usually isn't, but expect something on these Super Mario Sluggers-Playable Wii Music-A little was shown last E3 but I assume this will be the big casual game that Nintendo shows. Starfox Wii-I'm going out on a limb and saying this will be the big title. Pikmin 3 doesn't seem as likely and I'm skeptical of a new Kid Icarus game, but Starfox is usually a faithful franchises and I wouldn't doubt we'll get a Wii one with Wii controls. Warioware Balance Board-This is more agreeing with all of you guys. When ever a new piece of hardware comes out that could be used for a Warioware game, there usually is a Warioware game. I think the franchises will follow suit and make a balance board game set early 09. EDIT: Animal Crossing Wii-The title was mentioned way back in 2006 and, since then, has been talked about here and there. With Pay to Play announced at GDC I assume AC Wii will follow being the first game for the service. Plus, with this title still at large and a high change it will happen that it will be shown at E3 08.
