I got a bit of a Viewtiful Joe vibe from the character art. Well, a gayer Viewtiful Joe. The game would definitely lose something if its not Captain Rainbow though, its just so ridiculous that its awesome.
Whats up with Birdo-clone at the beginning?

That looks... well, interesting. Maybe it has even higher chances to be released in Europe than in America (remember Tingle's game). Even those here who hate the style, see the good side: an upcoming cameo for Fry's page.  It's Birdo! She (he) refers to herself as "Catherine" in the trailer. And that's her Japanese name. I'm curious about what role she plays in this game. BTW, Birdo has one more name - she's known as "Strutzi" in Italian. |

- Captain Rainbow is a reference to Masked Rider, you can tell from the rainbow belt that he is wearing and his transformation stance
- The island that you will be exploring are pack fill with past Nintendo minor characters
- In the video, Birdo aka Katherine was bascially introducing the game, characters and talking crap
- The genre of this game still remains a mystery

I have no idea who they are either. Hikari is from the Famicom Disk System game Shin Oni Ga Shima, if this Hikari is meant (she cameod in Kirby's Dream Land 3 and SSB Melee). But who the heck is OtsuSan? If I search for both this name and "Nintendo" in Google, there are almost no results. |

Thanks, yes, that's Hikari (ひかり)! Man, Birdo looks deformed. This is perfect for speculation "who'll get in" - and how deformed each one will look. There's still the question who OtsuSan is. |

Skip doesn't even belong to Nintendo and yet they can do this? That reeks of awesome. I guess anything they make, since it gets published by the Big N, belongs the Big N anyways. Like Chibi Robo.

RAINBOW OBSESSED STRAIGHT MAN PARTNERS WITH TRANSSEXUAL DINOSAUR. I wouldn't wonder if Birdo gets a female voice in western versions (if there will be such versions). NoA's family friendliness and so on, y'know. They showed it enough times. Does anybody know why Birdo gets mad multiple times in the video? I guess she says something like "What? You say I'm a boy? Shut up!!! I'm a girl!!!", but I could be completely wrong. Is anybody here who understands Japanese? I think Fryguy does a bit, doesn't he? |

Obscure Nintendo characters is a good thing. Take out Captain Frills and I would be all over this.
I mean, girl from Shin Oni Ga Shima. Not giving a shoot about Birdo but if they put the Duck Hunt dog in I'd actually buy this game. O.o
