Sorry I must of missed it, but why didn't they Kid Icarus Wii. Was it that the sorce was fake or something? It was not shown, Matt from IGN said it wasn't going to be shown at Nintendo's press conference a day before it happened. It was posted here. The whole reason why no "hardcore" games were shown was because Nintendo decided to aim the conference at the casual market and may/will be shown at a different event more suited for it (not E3).

Miyamoto said in an interview that Nintendo chose to show more casual games becuase of the type of press there. I assume that if we see more hardcore games, it will be at other press events. Nintendo's Fall conference perhaps. But this is getting into speculative territory. Clearly E3 was so exciting we're having to invent games that could have been shown in order to maintain any semblance of interest in the medium of Nintendo gaming. Legend of Zelda: Valley of the Flood. The best Zelda game not in production. Was made up before E3. Also, I liked the idea of Wiimote and Balance board controls. That's a great way to do a Wii game. Plus it's one everyone would like. But has Nintendo realized it yet?

Well, it would be... if the Balance Board and MotionPlus were free, rather than horrifically expensive (and in the case of the Balance Board, packaged with one game!)

It probably wouldn't use Wii Motion plus since it requires the Knunchuk (don't believe you can have both). They may also start selling them separately.

Actually, you can use MotionPlus with the nunchuck attached, there's a little covered hole on the end. And Reggie used one when he was playing that jet-ski game.

I don't listen to the first one becuase the guy is an arrogant ass. Second one was awesome (mostly for Miyamoto).

Ain't it about time we brought this back? Seeing as E3's in eight days.
Konami's secret project is suposed to have some light shed on it. (see the link I posted in The Off-Topic Sightseeing Tour) Other than that, there isn't much news for E3 right now. Just speculation.
For Nintendo, (who's conference starts at 12pm Eastern on the 2nd of June) I predict that we'll get a proper Sin and Punishment 2 trailer, something on a new Star Fox or F-Zero, and maybe Pikmin 3.
And Wii Gardening or some other bull honkey.

Wow, E3 is here again. Here's hoping we have a bit more this year.

It could easily go in a positive direction what with the production being much higher apparently, as well as entertaining distractions like booth girls, and it being a more general event.
But I hope at least some of you play this safe and don't get your hopes up. I don't know what to expect, so I'll be playing the role of "I don't know what to expect" guy.

I expect absolutely nothing. <Insert company name here> have been giving me big disappointments once in a while, so it's always the best thing not to get hyped about anything before I actually see it on shelves. Apparently, I have not yet been recovered from my "lost of hope" status since summer 2005.

I'm hoping Nintendo will announce one game I give a damn about, though I realize that's wishful thinking.
