I'm mearly pointing out that all the best Nintendo characters have already been chosen! Takamaru wasn't mixed in with Birdo and Tracy in Captain Rainbow for nothing, you know... No...there are still a couple more. Sakurai probaley just doesn't wanna use up all his ideas till the next installment. Why would Sakurai want to keep it Nintendo? Won't the normal Nintendo fan love the idea of beating Sonic and Snake to a pulp with Mario, Ness, Ice Climbers, etc.? Seriously I have gave it some thought and I think that actually makes sense.

Where did I ever say I was prejudice towards third parties!? I don't know, did you? I don't recall saying "MAN-FROG HATES THIRD PARTIES!" Okay, I don't know whose posts you guys are reading, but they're obviously not mine. I have never said that Smash Bros. should not be a Nintendo game. All I said was that casual gamers would appreciate third parties better than obscure characters. I have firends who are casual gamers. One of said friends only plays as Snake when I bring Brawl over to his house. (He'll also play as Samus, only 'cause he's an Xbox fanboy and likes first person shooters) Wow. You need to take a chill pill or something man, 'cause you must've missed out on your medication this morning. It's true that I like third party games better than obscure games. I do play them though. I went and bought Mole Mania because it was recommended by Fry, and I've been a huge Golden Sun fan way before i joined NinDB. To me, it sounds like you guys would take any character as long as they're first party. I personally would rather play as MegaMan than Demille any day though. I've played MegaMan. It's fun. Tomato Adventure though? No thanks.

Bah I don't hate third parties. I'd just think Sakurai should put Nintendo characters before third-parties.
My only problem with third-parties is that it opened the door for a swarm of many more third-party characters, when you should focus on adding more Nintendo characters instead.
It lowers the chances how many new Nintendo characters are going to be in now that third-parties made their way through.
So I don't hate third-parties, I just hate the idea of catering to them the same way as a Nintendo character.

I don't think third parties should be put ahead of Nintendo characters. I do think certain characters have an exception to this, like MegaMan and Pac Man.

Also, Smashchu, when did I say SSB wasn't a Nintendo fighting game? I feel like you're putting words in my mouth and I don't like it. Well, here was the original quote Assuming the game wasn't always meant to be Nintendo-centric, which it is. Is that why Snake and Sonic is in it? Or why there are only a few Nintendo enemies in the Subspace Emissary? How 'bout the original items as well? I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Times have changed. The series started out as a party fighter with Nintendo characters. It's evolved over time into a beloved series with doors open to new things. The last line (and what you quoted) imply that it is no longer a Nintendo frighting game. It may just be a misunderstanding on my part. I have some more to say, but It's not important right now.

The last line (and what you quoted) imply that it is no longer a Nintendo frighting game. It may just be a misunderstanding on my part. No it doesn't. It implies exactly what it says - that the series has evolved into more than just a party fighter with Nintendo characters. L2readkthnxbai

DiU is right Smash, it's still a Nintendo fighter, but as I said hey are trying new things. I probably should've said a party fighter with only Nintendo characters. Now, there are more original stuff than ever before. The series has evolved into more than just a Nintendo fighter, but as far as anything goes, it's still 80%-90% Nintendo.
