...I don't care about this thing at all, and let's say I'm rather annoyed to see this thread getting updated often.

YL makes a good point. If you want to talk about the game or its creator, that's fine, but I'd rather you guys didn't use the thread just to have an inane argument and make silly accusations against each other.

But we are talking about the game and it's creator.. aren't we? That's definitely what I thought I was talking about. If this has somehow become about something else, it's entirely over my head. The first post I can see that's off the topic is YL's.

No, you guys haven't crossed any lines yet. I think Teev's comment was a joke, but let's not let things get out of hand. Hopefully when E3 comes, we'll have better things to talk about.

I like this discussion. At least people around here are having one that's not Smash Bros.

Why would he pitch a game about Nintendo stopping him from making a game TO NINTENDO? Why would he have written in Nintendo refusing to give him a dev kit BEFORE asking Nintendo for a dev kit? How are you seriously falling for this? I'm starting to think Robert Manspeed may know Robert Pelloni in real life and his defending him is another stunt. For people who pride upon DiU saying "I hate black people and Muslims" (and attack anyone who questions it/calls it out), you sure are touchy and sensitive when another person here has a different opinion from the rest of you.

I tried reading the history of the game's development on his website, but I couldn't get through it all. It's basically just the guy's entire life story. I started skimming after a while and after what seemed like forever I realised I was only halfway through and skipped to the end. I feel kinda sorry for him after reading it, though. Guy needs serious help, but he's too wrapped up in his own paranoia and delusions of grandeur to see it.

It's interesting because it's basically young Michael Myers from the Rob Zombie Halloween remake. Bob's got his own serial killer origin story going for him filled with drugs, sex, and animal murder. I bet he posted it for some sympathy but it's just so deranged and insane that I'm more scared for the people he comes in contact with.

Oh, I don't believe all of it's the truth. It's full of clichéd Mary-Sue backstory, things lifted straight from movies and beautiful girls falling madly in love with him because he showed them his game. I can't believe all of that stuff went down exactly how he says it did. But maybe it did, and that's sad. Or maybe he just believes it did, and that's even sadder.
EDIT: I decided to read more of it. Got up to the point where he freaks out and destroys his laptop and quits his job because his mother is trying to control him with her.. font choices. Why hasn't this man been institutionalized?

Oh yeah, it's pretty obvious to tell where he's lying and what's fact. I really believe he killed his cat and did a lot of drugs. My sister does drugs and she's pretty insane too. That stuff messes with your head like you wouldn't believe.
