Where the hell did he get those hot Asian chicks?
See? I told you the whole thing was a marketing scheme. Obviously this guy is better off then you all thought. I'll bet Nintendo actually did give him the disk he needed.

Uh-huh. So very viral cause he didn't get arrested. Plus if this was real he wouldn't have friends. Though they're possibly alleyway whores being paid to support him, or something else zany that can't be proved.

After everything he's done, and his incredible amount of immaturity, I think the chances of Nintendo helping him are very slim. He has money, obviously enough to buy all those boxes and a DS that he left in the store. The people didn't even know if Bob was his real name. He must have paid them to help him out. And just because he did this, doesn't mean he started out as a marketing scheme. The guy's an douche, I don't know why it's so hard for you to figure out.

I dislike viral marketing, vandalism, and pricks that are unfunny and actually pricks. But yeah, Man-Frog, I can do worse. Give me a more ridiculous situation and I can pick out the funniest things.
But there's no way this man has friends that are this drop-dead beautiful. And what the pretty little lady says at the end make me conclude they were given a good buck or two for their services.
Though they're most likely not(but possibly still) prostitutes, I got a laugh out of typing that because I never say things like that. Or do I? Who cares.

His button presses don't really match with the youtube video playing on his flash cart.
Good job on the boxes though.

Picture Uh-huh. So very viral cause he didn't get arrested. Plus if this was real he wouldn't have friends. Though they're possibly alleyway whores being paid to support him, or something else zany that can't be proved. Actually, the head of Nicails Inc (developers of Cave Story WiiWare), Tyrone Rodriguez, actually contacted Pixel about a commercial port of Cave Story and after a year of discussion they decided to make it for the Wii, so Nintendo didn't approach Pixel. Also in terms of Bob's craziness . . . - He waited to be accepted/declined an offer of a NDS (nitro) SDK from Nintendo that would take about 6-8 weeks to process and get back to him . . . - 16 weeks later Nintendo did still not contact him on either answer and just left Bob hanging for no (apparent) reason. - Bob gets angry about this, starts sit down (locked in room 100 days) protest, not a bad idea but. . . being at the start of the Christmas break (not a smart idea when everyone is going on Holiday and stuff). This ends up starting off Bob's "locked in my room adventure." - Starts acting like a character/goes crazy against Nintendo period. - Many weeks pass. - Stage 50. I think the actually name for what he does in S50 is known as "shop giving" (the opposite of shoplifting) where instead of going into a store and stealing product/s, you go in and put ad's for you product/s in the store (say in a bookstore, inside a book). This is a very cheap (and sneaky way) of advertising. I'm just surprised Bob didn't do more of a "stealthy" approach to S50, it probably would have worked better without annoying the NWS staff and he really should have just contacted Nintendo again (after the 16 weeks passed) to know what was going on with the status of his appilcation. Another crazy thought I had about this whole situation is that this whole "Bob's Game" blog/game is actually Robert Pelloni's (real life) game (about a game) of toying with the (real) world over a video game in which we know hardly anything about. So instead of being a marketing capagin maybe this is all just a test/university experiment in cheap marketing over a fake product. (I just read two articles breaking down the game No More Heroes in detail, so that's where I'm getting this crazy idea from). But then in the end I'm still beiliving he actually has the SDK and this is actual marketing.

There's no way in HELL Bob has the SDK right now. There are a shitload of requirements one must fullfill before Nintendo hands out development kits to game designers. From Nintendo's own warioworld website: Bob doesn't have/work at a videogame company so he already fails at 1 (otherwise the company's logo would've popped up in one of his trailers atleast). Also going to Nintendo World store and pissing off employees probably isn't the kind of marketing plan Nintendo agrees with.

Found the pic and thought it was funny, Robot. Doesn't completely make sense but it's just funnier to thus compare Pixel and Bob, right?

Well, it's officially over, Nintendo has denied Bob developer status at this time.Well, it took Nintendo long enough to reply to him. Here's the full post from his site. (Check out the firework animations on the page). 009-02-05 (Stage 55 - Decision) //---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's official! 6-8 weeks = 25 Nintendo weeks. 1 Nintendo week = 3-4 weeks. WEAK!
Thank you for your interest for Authorized Developer status for Nintendo DS. We have completed our evaluation of your application and are unable to offer your company Authorized Developer status at the present time. In evaluating developers, Nintendo looks for relevant game development experience. In addition, Nintendo looks for secure business facilities, sufficient equipment and staffing, financial stability and other attributes that would distinguish the developer. Nintendo provides Authorized Developers with highly confidential information and many of Nintendo's Licensees rely on recommendations and referrals by Nintendo to Authorized Developers. For these reasons, Nintendo exercises a very high level of discretion in approving only a select number of applicants. In accordance with our policies, we are not able to re-evaluate requests for developer status for at least six months. Again, we appreciate your interest, and welcome any questions or concerns you might have regarding this decision. Best regards, Software Development Support Group & Licensing Department Nintendo of America & Nintendo of Europe
I just don't understand! Have I done something wrong? What's the problem, Nintendo? Don't stop the party! Why does Yuu have to be such a party pooper, REGGIE!? They're just mad because they weren't invited to the party! I've got to do something about this! I feel terrible! Nintendo, DON'T WORRY! I am officially inviting Yuu to the day 100 party! R.S.V.P. unnecessary, I already know Yuu will be there! Bring a friend! B.Y.O.B.! Goes until Location: Yuu knows where! ;}

I understand very little of what he says in his blog. I can only assume it's a secret code of some kind.
