I have edited the first post to clarify the rules, and also to announce I will be rewarding TWO prizes - one for the best stage idea, and one for the best soundtrack. The prize will also include me posting a YouTube video of your stage artwork to one of the songs in your soundtrack.
I would also like to mention, you CAN edit your entries (e.g. for updating playlists or going into more detail), but if you do, post a reply here to notify me of the changes.
There's been some more great ideas since my last post, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else you guys come up with.

Really Fry? I never had the patience to get that far in the game, despite loving the character and concept so damn much Kid Icarus SeriesAngel Land: Underworld -- Kid IcarusNot as epic in scope as Skyworld, but this is what I expected as the secondary Kid Icarus stage. This level takes place in a vertical chasm similar to the first four stages of Kid Icarus. There is no floor, no sides, and the top is open. But the platforms are variable. There are your typical pillars, pass-through "mossy" platforms, stone baths of lava, and awkward damage causing plantlife hanging from the sides. The basic design is such that the bottom part of the stage is a series of pillars. Just above that lie the pass-through platforms, followed by a series of "steps" with lava baths. Above that we get two separate "tunnels" rising vertically, each with a different arrangement of horizontal platforms (all tipped with poisonous plants). At the tippity top of the stage are two moving platforms moving between the columns. There are two major gimmicks here. One, there is a door in the right vertical column that remains closed for most of the match. However, if the battle drags on it opens and out walks an Eggplant Wizard, doing his thing. Players turned into eggplants can only jump and move--no attacks. There are also upside down urns that drop Shemums on occasion who run down the vertical columns and spread around the stage. The second gimmick, however, plays off the NES technology a bit. Any player who walks off the right side of the stage will magically appear on the left. This means that any items, KO's, projectiles, etc. will "reach" across the screen to the other side. Freaky, huh? This leads to funky gameplay strategies and weird matches overall, but an interesting and fun stage gimmick. Music: Kid Icarus Underworld (where it belongs), Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters Underworld, Kid Icarus Dungeon, Kid Icarus Sky Palace, Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters Orcos Battle Super Mario SeriesDark World: Doomship -- Super Mario Bros. 3Who hasn't had this idea? A dark version of Rainbow Cruise, the battle takes place on one of the Koopalings' Airships. The background scrolls and the edges of the screen may alter somewhat diagonally or to any other direction, but largely this is NOT a scrolling stage. The players combat on a large battleship with a raised bow and stern while avoiding cannonballs, Bullet Bills, and Bob-ombs fired from various cannons. There are also flames to avoid and those screws to jump on and cross the central part of the ship. And let's not forget Rocky Wrenches! This stage is roughly the size of the SMW Yoshi's Island stage, so imagine all the traps and goodies of a Doomship applied to that size stage. No other real obstacles. Music: Super Mario Bros. 3 Airship, Super Mario Bros. 3/World Castle/Boss Medley, Super Mario World Boss/Valley of Koopa/Super Mario Bros. 3 Dark World, Super Mario 64 Road to Bowser, Paper Mario Bill Blaster, Go Faster!/Koopa Bros. Theme, Mario Kart DS Airship, Super Mario Galaxy Airship Big City: Demolition Site -- Wrecking CrewA randomly generated stage. This level is arranged just like any stage in Wrecking Crew, with various tiers on the sides and the central area reserved for girders, drums, etc. The level is randomly generated each time you enter and looks very similar to something you could build in Stage Builder, if only because the pieces are simplistic. There are ladders to climb, girders as platforms, drums as traps, beams as supports, and various types of walls. The way the stage works is that the characters may climb ladders and use platforms at their leisure. However, as they attack they deal damage to the background. When a piece takes too much damage it gets destroyed. Walls simply disappear, but destroying ladders or supports can spell trouble: ladders for the obvious reason, but losing supports can cause drums to fall and trap players inside (they can break free). On occasion bombs will appear. Destroying a bomb wrecks an entire column or row or objects (so, for example, a WHOLE ladder or row of walls). Players can get KO'd off the sides or off the top as well. Now here's the cool gimmick: this stage has two fighting areas. There are also doors that may appear when the stage is generated. By pressing up at a door when it opens (they open by being hit), a player can enter and appear in the background of the stage. Here they are only vulnerable to attacks from other players in the background. They can also hide behind objects in the foreground, such as walls, and destroy them. If a player stands behind or in front of an object as it gets destroyed they take damage and great knockback, so playing both sides works to your advantage. Finally, the only other gimmicks are the enemies. Foreman Spike, like the Chimera, will appear from time to time to start busting up the stage from behind the scenes. If players attempt to attack him by going back there they will take heavy damage/knockback. There are also Eggplant Men and Gotcha Wrenches that appear from the sides and use the platforms, dealing light damager to players, and Fireballs that fly in from the sides. None of the enemies are killable. Music: Wrecking Crew Main Theme/Bonus Stage, Wrecking Crew Golden Hammer, Mario DDR Destruction Dance, Donkey Kong Jr. Medley, Duck Hunt/Hogan's Alley/Wild Gunman Medley, Short Order/Eggsplode Medley, Wrecking Crew '98 Stage Music, Wario's Woods (SNES) Medley Ice Climber SeriesEndless Range: Infinity Mountain -- Climber [Game and Watch]The non-polar version of Infinite Glacier, maybe. This is based on the Game and Watch game Climber. Players climb up rockfaces, earthen platforms, and clouds as they dodge falling boulders, spikes, roguish eagles. Think the Icicle Mountain stage from Melee except kinder scrolling and more "Rockies" and less "Himalayas." Music: Ice Climber Theme, Balloon Fight Theme, Game and Watch Gallery Medley

Audience This takes place on the theatrical stage where all battles took place in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. You can walk yourself to a KO when you walk too far to the left or the right. Paper-thin spectators sit in the foreground cheering the battle on. I love the idea of that stage.
Here's two more stage ideas of mine. Virus Bottle (Dr Mario).Setting.The stage is set in the giant bottle that Dr Mario throws megavitamins in the Dr Mario game. The difficulty of the Dr Mario virus level is 10 and the speed is on the low setting and the arrangement of the viruses and pills being thrown in is randomly generated. The background is just the normal screen you would see when playing Dr Mario. The only way to get KO's is through the top of the bottle or if the character gets crushed by a megavitamin. (That prevents any character from getting trapped and not being able to fight for the rest of the match). Also there are two cracks located halfway in the bottle that characters can be sent flying through. Falling megavitamin can actually be moved around in the air when characters use attacks (like aerial or indirect attacks or just throwing items at them). If 4 of the same colour are lined up they will eliminate themselves (and any viruses). Also just like the 75m DK stage in SSBB there will also be a high score counter when viruses get killed. HazardsRed, blue and yellow viruses are in the bottle and will damage you if you touch them (they will be dancing around and swinging their arms like they do in their actual game). Getting crushed by megavitamins will be a TKO unless another character directs the pill at them causing it to be a KO. MusicThe Dr Mario Rx (Wiiware Dr Mario) music tracks. Fever, Sneeze and all the rest of them from Dr Mario Rx. Mario and Yoshi (combination of mushroom, fire flower and star music). Tetris A and B EDIT: Removed the songs from Panel de Pon,Tetris Attack and Planet Puzzle League because I don't know of any music in them. Second stage ideaMacbeth and the "forever train" (Starfox 64/Lylatwars Macbeth level). SettingThe level is set on the "forever train" as it chugs along to the left of the screen. Fox McCloud's Landmaster tank can be seen either in the foreground, background or directly behind the train shooting at it. It is possible to ride the tank when it is behind the train as it is sort of like the King of the Red Lions on the The Pirate Ship SSBB stage. Arwings can also be seen flying through the sky. At the very start of the match you are fighting on the Landmaster Tank following the "forever train" which you must jump onto after about 15-20 seconds because the Landmaster will slowly back off to the right of the screen (and if you are still on it yoi will get TKO'ed. HazardsAs the Landmaster slowy blow up the tank carriages on the right side of the screen, players must keep moving to the left of the screen to avoid taking damage when the carriages blow up. Falling of the train will cause damage and send you flying back up in the air and allow you to fall back onto the train (or get shot by the Landmaster). Over time all the train carriages get destroyed leaving you to fight on top of the train when the "train kite boss" sticking out but not set as high as it was in SF64 but much closer to the train so it can be used as an actual fighting platform After the kite part gets blown up, the train will also explode and players are forced to jump on top of the Landmaster Tank and then the stage starts again with another train. MusicFrom Sf64 there is Macbeth/Titana, Aquas, Katina and the credits theme. From SfAdv there is Thorntail Hollow, Ice Mountain and Dark Ice Mines.

Koindozer KlamberThis stage has one big central platform, two short platforms at each side, and other two short outer platforms. There is a Koin standing on each of the two inner, short platforms. If a character lands straight above Koin's head, they will stand on Koin's shield, with the possibility of returning to the safer, central platforms. If the character falls at an angle on Koin's head, then they will get bumped away by Koin's shield, possibly falling to one of the outer platforms or the main platform. Two Buzzes guard the bounds of the stage as a last resort to characters who are sent flying close. Additional appearances include Ellie running by the background with Parry flying above her. My Music: Bubbly CloudsThis is a beautiful-looking stage located at the skies of Dream Land, on top of the clouds. It's full of stone columns, stars in the sky, and gorgeous fountains. There are three cloud platforms in the middle, two above, another three at the top, and one pit at the bottom which will be covered at times by cloud platforms that move in an horizontal pattern continuously. Kracko is always moving around in the background as the characters fight. However, he will sometimes approach the characters to attack them or hurl creatures at them. Watch out for Gordos in the sky. Some will stop characters from being sent flying away, but at the cost of even more damage. My Music:

Panel de Pon Tetris Attack Planet Puzzle League (or do PdP, TA and PPL have the same music?) Yes, and quite a lot of it. You'll have to be more specific too - you've just listed games here, rather than songs

Mother Brain's Fortress
You fight in the area where Samus fought Mother Brain in the first Metroid. MB is on the left side of the screen and missiles will occasionally shoot at you from the walls. You can choose to attack MB if you want, and if you do enough damage to her, She will explode and then a timer will begin. The level switches to an auto scrolling level where you need to make it out alive, climbing the different platforms like in SSB Melee adventure mode.
Music Ending (Metroid) Brinstar (Super Metroid) Chozo Ruins (Metroid Prime)

Here's my second entry:
2) Mushroom Kingdom III This here is another retro stage made to complement Mushroom Kingdom I, Mushroom Kingdom II (which should really be named Sub-Con) and Yoshi’s Island (which should really be called Donut Plains). If I didn’t have those problems, I’d have named this one Grass Land. Otherwise, this stage looks just like the first level from SMB3, as well as similar levels from the same game. The background looks just like it does in the SMAS edition of SMB3, complete with smiling clouds, big multicolored steel blocks and hills with eyes. The foreground has a pipe on the left, a few sets of bricks near the middle, a white steel block on the far right, and a pit between the bricks and the white block. Whenever the players are on the side of the stage opposite the pipe, a Venus Fire Trap will pop out of it and shoot fireballs at them. If you stand crouching on the white block for 10 seconds, you’ll fall into the background. You can still be hit and KO’d though, and it doesn’t last for too long. Every now and again a Hammer Bro. will appear from one side of the screen and throw hammers at you in a similar manner to Birdo on the MKII stage. You can attack the Hammer Bro. to make it go away. Sometimes you’ll see a Boomerang Bro., a Fire Bro. or even a Sledge Bro. that quakes the ground like the POW Block from the Mario Bros. stage. Other times a Goomba riding around in a Kuribo’s Shoe will show up and jump around. If you successfully knock the Goomba out of the shoe, you’ll be able to ride around in it and stomp your rivals!
Songs: SMB3: Ground theme SMB3: Athletic theme SMB3: Grass Land map SMB3: Water theme SMB3: Hammer Bros. Battle theme

Might as well throw one more in for right now, this is fun. Gonna do the Melee style of naming the local area then wider range, as well. And Fry, check my last post as I'm gonna update it in a moment.
Wario Palace, Kitchen Island
This takes place in a diorama-style form of his castle from Wario Land II as a gorgeous sunset hits the Shake It! style background, think a brighter version of the Luigi's Mansion stage in the last game. The center is the throne room (covered in gold and treasure like Wario World), the bottom left is the kitchen (with those chef moles as tiny sprites walking around), the bottom right is the basement (the alarm clock is there and so is the giant faucet, though both don't alter gameplay, they are sprites), the top left is the bedroom (photos of Wario, his king-sized bed, and treasures from his games like the WL1 Bull Hat), and the top right is his living room (the fireplace, various wardrobes). When nobody is standing inside the diorama, the whole palace is shown to the camera, the fancy palace from WL2 but redone to fit with the characters more than the sprites inside. You might see the S.S. Teacup sail by in the background's ocean, or maybe Captain Syrup's skull blimp! Rumor also has it you can see three clumsy shadows of Spear Guys bumping into each other on a distant hill in the back, as well. It's wonderful to see the newest game style with sprites from one of the older ones inside the castle itself and around it.
My Music: -Opening Theme (Wario Land 4) (Remixed with the Wario Land II title theme and a new vocalist) -Level 2-1 (Wario Land Shake It!) (Unaltered) -Wario's Theme (Wario Land: SML3 Main Overworld Music, is remixed a lot in WL2) -Greenhorn Ruins (Wario World) (Also in Wario Land: Shake It! as a remix for Level 3-4) -WarioWare Medley (Brawl) (Unaltered)

Kuruwa River(Odama) Based on Kuruwa River 3 stage in Odama. You fight on top of of the cliff where Hyobei sits, and at the bottom of the cliff in front of the gate. Opponents must be thrown off the side of the stage like in Onett. Hazards include: 1. The Odama(It can either roll horizontally across top part of the stage or roll vertically and crash into the gate. Both will almost always KO anyone that's hit.) 2. Hyobei(Sits on top dumping boiling water on the fighters below. He is knocked down when the Odama rolls across the top of the cliff. Eventually he will stand up attack anyone around him and climb back up), 3. Soldiers(Dozens of them fill up the lower half of the stage. They mostly just attack each other and get in the way of the players. Their attacks are very weak and they are killed by a single attack) Music: 1.Cold and Bold(Ending Theme)- link2.Opening Theme- Begins around 2:453.Nazo no Murasamejou-It's in Brawl 4.Pinball- link

Mario ZoneThis stage takes place at the Mario Zone of Mario Land. Instead of fighting on a specific location inside Mario Zone, you'll be fighting on a big robotic clone of Mario as seen in the world's map. Some platforms are made-up and they're in front of the Mario robot. However, you can also stand on places such as Mario's cap, nose, tongue, and shoes. Sometimes, standing in front of mario's belly will suck you up and make you appear from the mouth and vice-versa. If you look closely at the background of the stage, you'll recognize more Zones from Mario Land, like the Spooky Zone, the Tree Zone and Mario's Castle. Additional cameos include Tatanga, the boss of the Space Zone, flying in his spaceship in the background. If you're lucky enough, you'll also see Mario himself riding his Sky Pop from Super Mario Land. This is the ultimate tribute to video game mascot Mario. My Music:

Alright. I love Yoshi's Island.
Dount Plains (Yoshi's Island)
Yet another "exact replica" type stage. This one, it's on 1-5 of Yoshi's Island. It works like the original, except 3D-ified, and collectibles retain. Once players reach the goal, they can try their luck by passing the flower ring. Get a flower, and the player will be given power-up WarioWare-style. The goal is modified that there is a warp pipe that transfer you to the beginning - be sure to do that quickly, or else you'll get KO'ed by the screen.
My Music:
Atheletic (already in) Atheletic (unmodified) Yoshi's Island title screen Tetris Attack - Yoshi's theme (unmodified) Yoshi Touch & Go remastered medley
The Planet near Nova (Kirby Super Star / Ultra)
A stage with no bottomless pit. This is going to be a dangerous stage: Marx is there. And he attacks. Smilar to the orignal, however, guarding will take care of most attacks.
Marx is such a manipulater that once he's at his goal, he'll do whatever he likes. You'll have no sympathy from him. Worst of all, once you ever managed to defeat him, he'll revive after a while. Can you keep your pace fighting while avoiding the monster?
In a chance of 10%, Marx Soul will appear instead, and the stage will change in style for him. In this case, whoever beng able to avoid him for the longest wins - because you simply can't fight normally with his presence.
My Music:
vs Marx (already in) Zero-Two (already in) vs Nghtmare Kaabii! (anime OP #2; don't blame me for being non-game; it's in Donkey Konga 2)
And I know the name is not creative; but it does sound a bit like literature, eh?

Entry number 3, comin' right up.
3) Balloon Arena: Yet another retro stage. This one is based directly on the first level from Balloon Fight. If you’ve ever seen Balloon Fight (and I’m sure a bunch of you have), then you know exactly what to expect. The bottom of the stage is all water, and there are green platforms on the sides and center of the stage suspended above the water. Like the other retro stages, you can get KO’d by walking off the screen. If you fall in the water, you’ll be able to swim back up like any stage in Brawl that has water. Hazards on this stage include little Birdmen that fly around and try to attack you. If you hit their balloons, they’ll sprout parachutes and float down. Try to break their parachutes before they land, because they can pump their balloons back up when they’re on solid ground. You can also knock them out on the ground if you’re quick enough. Other hazards include thunder clouds that shoot sparks which cause electric damage if they hit you, and the big fish that pops up when you land in or get close to the water. If the fish gets you, you’re instantly KO’d. One last thing I’d like to note is that this stage replicates Balloon Fight even further by having no background music by default along with all of the sound effects intact, such as the jingle that plays when a Birdman deploys their parachute and the ominous tune that plays when the fish appears. That retro enough for ya?
Songs: Balloon Fight: Balloon Trip (both the original and a remix) Balloon Kid: 1-Player Mode (same as above)

Most of my other stage ideas are merely existing ones but with a couple of refurbishments and new features. Do these count too? Are they eligible for this?

Most of my other stage ideas are merely existing ones but with a couple of refurbishments and new features. Do these count too? Are they eligible for this? I'm really looking for new stage ideas. If you have ideas for how to make existing stages better, then I suggest creating a topic about it (as I'm sure a few of us have had similar thoughts - *cough*New Pork City*cough*) They're not likely to win the prizes though

Well, the ideas seem to be drying up, so if there are any remaining ideas, you have until Sunday to post them. I will then close and announce the winners. So if you haven't posted your ideas yet, I suggest you get a move on!! There's been a lot of great entries, and I already have my eye on a few potential winners for both categories. It's gonna be a tough call to pick just two!
