I want you guys to come up with a stage based on a Nintendo game for a new Smash Bros. title. There are art-based prizes.
Rules 1. The stage must be based on a Nintendo game. 2. The stage doesn't have to be based on a game featuring a playable character. 3. To be eligible, you must also suggest at least three songs to play on your stage. These songs don't have to be from the game the stage is based on, but have to reflect the mood of the stage. They can also be songs that already exist in the Smash Bros. series. 4. Please go into as much detail as you can. 5. You can enter as many stages as you like.
Prizes I will produce mock up artwork of your stage idea. I will also create a YouTube video of your stage set to one of the songs in your playlist.
I will reward TWO prizes: 1. The best stage idea. 2. The best soundtrack.
Have Fun!

Mt. Dedede The level starts out on top of Castle Dedede. Shotzos shoot from the side occasionally, causing moderate damage and knock back. There are three platforms in the standard Battlefield configuration. Occasionally, a Bronto Burt flies into the field, carrying food like Shy Guys. The catch is they can cause very light damage if you touch them.
After thirty seconds or so, the Castle roof collapses, sending you into the Boxing ring. In the background, Bandanna Dee (KSSU) sits, along with other Dees, Doos and the like, watching the match. Depending on how you are doing, they may pelt you with sauce pans (Japanese humour FTW!), food or other items. In multiplayer matches, they can do the same for all of the players.
On the sides of the ring are two electric fields that cause high knock back and moderate damage. They float up and down in opposite patterns (One goes up, one goes down, etc.). To KO an opponent, it is best to rack up damage by throwing them into one of the fields then waiting for it to go up dso you can knock them under it.
The scoreboard hanging above it also a platform, and blocks star KOs from the center. It is possible to fight on it, but due to its height, it is not recommended. Much like the upper blocks in the Mushroomy Kingdom 1-2 stage, a KO is possible with much less vertical knockback due to its height
After thirty more seconds or thereabout, the players are warped back to the roof just like in Castle Siege.
My Music Dedede's Theme- Duh. Marx- Seems fitting for a boss theme. Punch-Out!!! Theme- It is a boxing ring, after all.
Hope you guys like the idea!

Ooh! Sounds like fun! Venus LighthouseYou will be in Venus Lighthouse from both Golden Sun games. The fight takes place in the big area where you fought Fusion Dragon. Isaac and friends are fighting the Dragon in the background, and depending on how you are fighting affects how quickly Isaac's group defeats the Dragon. When Isaac wins his battle, the lighthouse starts to collapse. He climbs the stairs to light the beacon and after it's lit, the lighthouse falls down completely, where the fight will now take place on the beach. The continent separates and the beach becomes an island. As it drifts, a huge tidal wave will then swipe everything up, restarting the cycle. MusicReturn to Venus LighthouseIsaac's Fight ThemeSol SanctumAh, Sakurai...so many possibilities left untouched!

Teev, you wouldn't want Issac playable in this theoretical fourth Smash game?! Tell me if there's a limit on how many I can enter, cause I have a Castle Dedede one I want to include, but if only one can't be chosen I won't use it, just want to share the idea. Castle Dedede, Mt. Dedede (This concept's over a year old so no KSSU stuff) Dedede's wrestling ring is where this stage starts out. Bunch of Kirby enemies cheer you on as you fight, and the creaking walls drop stolen food from the throne room above. It would turn out the entire boxing ring is rigged and operated by Dedede's minions, though it would seem also the machine isn't working well. The arena is a moving stage, shown suddenly as it is launched through the creaking ceiling and you end up fighting in the throne room, as Spear Waddle Dees watch and try to mix up the fight by throwing their javelins, and TACs are seen abusing the power of the Sparkling Stars as food would randomly fall in the ring. The moving stage again is launched higher and out on the roof of the castle, the sky darker than most nights in a manner like KDL3. The whole roof can be walked upon, until the "!" sign appears on-screen warning you the ring's malfunctioning again. My Music: -Dedede's Theme -Megaton Punch - Yogurt Yard -City Trial (Unaltered) -Item Mix-Up Music in City Trial (In the anime, it's called King Dedede Bustles Past) (Unaltered) The Beginner's Show! (The remix from Air Ride, originally the song was in KSS)King Dedede's Theme (Brawl Unaltered) Tallon IV
The entire stage is a... medley of the planet in Metroid Prime. The middle is the overworld, while a few platforms above Samus' ship are the Chozo Ruins, with Chozo Statues that will fire beams now and then at nearby players. The leftmost part of the stage is the Phazon Mines, with phazon acting much like it did in that game without proper protection, and like the acid in 2D Metroid games. The right side is both Magmoor Caverns and Phendrana Drifts, lava and ice basically. Zoomers occasionally show up around the stage, as well as Space Pirates (easily taken out in a few hits, though). My Music: -Theme of Samus, GALACTIC Warrior (The Crateria theme from Super Metroid) -Skytown (Metroid Prime 3) (Unaltered) -Tallon Overworld (Unaltered) -Metroid Prime Hunters: Menu Screen (Unaltered) -Saturnos Battle (Golden Sun)Rosalina's Observatory With visuals straight of of Galaxy, like Delfino Plaza, the stage slowly rotates like a decoration in your living room, and you must avoid falling- once in a while though, a bubble will save your life if you fall down from the screen. The background changes as the observatory visits various planets of the new galaxy from the end of the game, and star bits might hit the stage every now and then to replenish your health. Rosalina can be seen directing the star bits with her wand from the front of the observatory. Oh and Luma fly around too with the Toad Brigade in their flying mushroom shuttle (Da da da daaa~)- It's a magical sight indeed. My Music: -Rosalina's Theme (Observatory Theme) -Good Egg Galaxy (Unaltered) -Gusty Garden Galaxy (Unaltered) -Buoy Base Galaxy (Unaltered)-Space Zone (SML2) Jungle ClimberDK Jungle Climber and King of Swing make for a good stage idea, and here's my concept. The stage itself is controlled by Xananab at the bottom right corner of the screen as he stands on his banana spaceship holding the Spirowarp that warps you around different worlds. You'll travel from a toy room (Toy Box), a labyrinth of mirrors (Glass Maze), and a world of produce (Veggie Patch). How would pegs work, though? Let me tell you: A character can grab onto a solo peg or board of pegs like a ledge, and climb on top of it. That's all there is. You can grab onto a board of pegs from ANY part of it, any peg, and climb on top. Easy to be saved, but hard to keep balance when you're in the middle of a fight. -The Toy Box area is made of alphabet blocks, colored pencils, and other toys. Pegs are in the center of the stage, but inflatable balls serve as bumpers on the sides. Oh, and the stage might flip sometimes by a Kritter in the background next to a switch. -Glass Maze has moving glass shards on the top and bottom of the screen to try and knock you off the pegs scattered around the whole stage. If you stay on one peg for over ten seconds, it will crack like a mirror and vanish for a while, leaving you to drop. I'd recommend fighting more on the two platforms on the sides of the screen, then jump on pegs to try and trick your opponents. -Veggie Patch is composed of opening-and-closing vines of grapes, corn, and halves of seeded watermelons, to name the main deals. You can climb on the seeds, pieces of corn, and grapes when they open, but you have to avoid falling carrots and the occasional Zingers. My Music: -Aquatic Ambiance (DKC Underwater Theme) -Jungle Climber Boss Theme ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fwrIpAtVBY 2:50) (Unaltered) -Pirate Panic (DKC2) -Kannon's Klaim (DKC2) Army Dillo Battle 2 (DK64)

This sounds like a pretty good idea for a competition. (I would like to say I have mentioned this idea before). R.O.B. (Stack Up version). (Does not matter if it is the Famicom or NES color style of R.O.B.). The stage is set on the hand/grippers of a giant R.O.B. playing Stack Up. Most of the stage will be entriely flat and the only change of angle will be slightly downwards at the space between R.O.B.'s Stack Up grippers and when R.O.B. picks more than 2 Stack Up blocks. R.O.B. will pick up between 1 and 5 SU blocks. The stage layout will change slightly because of it. * 1 SU block, stage becomes slightly longer but is still flat. * 2-3 SU blocks, same as above but the 2nd/3rd SU block prevents the stage from being flat now becomes more of a slight obsticle and prevents long range attacks from being used. * 4-5 SU blocks, forms a tower and sort of seperates the stage in two but is still possible to jump over. It's sort of like the tower from Peach's Castle or Fourside in SSBM. It is possible to fight on top of the SU blocks but one has to make sure that you aren't fighting on them when R.O.B. drops it as they can be a KO if you don't get off in time. Other hazards on the stage include falling off the stage (results in a KO) when R.O.B. moves around his central pivot (but he moves slowly though just like the real version) and getting caught between his grippers when he closes them without a SU block between them. A character caught between them is now stuck and other characters can put as much damage as they like without the stuck character getting KO. (Sort of the same effect one gets from DK side B move or having a Pitfall item thrown at you except it lasts longer). One possible idea I had for the backround of the stage was someone's bedroom playing SU (and also filled with other Nintendo hardware). But you don't need to draw that in if it will be too hard to do. My Music choices.Gryomite* Stack Up* Excitebike Urban Champion Duck Hunt * Are we allowed to use music that is already in SSBB? I know Gryomite is but I don't know about Stack Up. I only listed the other 3 choices because I did not know if the first two would count.

Flooded Basement (Warios Castle)Captain syrup left all the faucets open and now the basement of Wario´s Castle its flooded (just like in Wario land 2) you fight on top of several furniture than float on the current, but fell sleep because the current will take the furniture outside of the screen an to your death. There are several difetent furnitute types than might apear: Armoires, desks andTables; (the standard plataform) if you use a heavy character it will start to sink. Book cases; provides you with books than you can throw at your oponets (will also sink with much weight) Couches and beds; Might get destroyed after a few hits. also if you see the faucet during the stage, hit it so you can stop the flood for a moment (those pesky pirates will turn them on as soon as they can. Chaotic Seas(Advance Wars series)
The stage start a top a carrier with Orange Star soldiers on the ship (cleaning and trafficking airplanes) . Eventually, Jets, Bombers, or Dusters may land on the ship. You better jump on, or they'll take off leaving you behind. They may join up with other flying units for you to fight on. Eventually, they may be shot down, meaning you better get off. They may all be shot down forcing you to land on another sea unit (such as a gun boat or cruiser). All the sea units are from the side. Otherwise, they'll land back on a carrier before taking off again.

I prefer to make stages that feature timeless locations that don't just appear in one game. You know, a place that is iconic in a series.
ZELDA STAGES
Death Mountain Three rocky peaks above the clouds make up this stage. The one in the center features the entrance to Ganon's evil lair (but you can't go in it). While ruins of old temples are scattered about the rocky terrain. The sky is cloudy and dark, but it's not night. However in the background there are volcanic peaks in the background that will occasionally erupt, raining volcanic rock down on the stage. My Music: Death Mountain (Link to the Past) Goron City (Ocarina of Time) Ganon's Theme (Link to the Past/ Ocarina of Time)
Castle Hyrule Instead of the roof tops like in the N64, you're inside the castle. Here a strange platform version of the interiors are make the stage. Giant chandeliers, and statue pillars, you hop about on. In the background, statues of the goddesses loom while a giant stained glass window depicting the sacred realm, pours light into the suspended room. If too much goes on while battling on top of the chandeliers, they will collapse. My Music: Hyrule Castle (Link to the Past) Introduction Story (Wind Waker) Song of Healing (Majora's Mask) Ballad of the Windfish (Link's Awakening)
MOTHER STAGES
Magicant It was hard to think of a location that was constant in the Mother series. But then I remembered... Magicant! It apeared in both Mother 1 and 2. Certainly a unique place like this can't be ignored. This place is has multicolored clouds with giant vegetables and tropic plants growing out of them. There's one large cloud platform with giant carrots poking out the sides like two ramps. Above are two floating tomatoes with bouncy properties. Almost like bumpers but not as strong and you won't flinch, you can hop on the tops of them to give you extra height. In the background, psychedelic colors wave about as characters from all the Mother games float by. This is great for any Mother fan, I'm sure they'd be excited to see all there favorites hover in the background. My Music: Magicant (Earthbound) Flying Man (Mother) Monkey Delivery Service (Mother 3)

Sootopolis CityThis takes place during the time when Groudon and Kyogre had their cataclysmic battle ages ago. Characters fight very close to Groudon and Kyogre while they are having a fierce battle in the background in real time. They use Water Spout, Eruption, and the weather comes from rainy to sunny, rainy and so on. You can see lots of ground and sea Pokémon in the background and the foreground, too. Watch out for the attacks that home near the main platform; they are predictable enough. After a while, a big tremor will be felt and a powerful roar will be heard. The platforms will be broken into pieces, and you will fall down and land on the back of Rayquaza, who came to stop the battle with all its might. It's at this point that you won't see Groudon and Kyogre from only one angle, but you will surround them and watch their battle in glorious 3-D while fighting on Rayquaza's back, who is flying slowly. After completing two circles, Rayquaza will intervene and stop the battle, while you land on a new platform set. Rayquaza flies away, and the loop starts again. My Music: Mario Toy CompanyYou fight in a platform construction lot in front of the Mario Toy Company. The stage is made of three levels of non-solid plaftorms and two conveyor belts linking the top and bottom levels of platforms. Sometimes, bricks and rubble will fall to the top platforms. Three Shy Guys are in the background, and they will periodically press a colored switch to change the layout of the stage. One color will prevent the conveyor belt from rotating, one color will prevent characters from being star-finished, and the remaining color will prevent characters from falling to pits. Hammers, Barrels, and Mini-Marios are frequent here. There is also a Mini-DK in the background at the top of the stage, reminiscent of DK's original presence in the original Donkey Kong game. My Music: Dusty Dunes DesertYou'll be fighting near an excavation in the desert, while trying to avoid a variety of events ruled by no other than the weird Sanchez Bros. (they're Pancho, Poncho, and Thomas Jefferson). The Sanchez Bros. will be seen in the background working as a human slot machine that will reset every 30 seconds. Depending on the icons in the slots, you will see either: - A right-to-left stampede of Crested Bookas that will shriek annoyingly. They don't crash with the characters; instead, they just leave them dazed.
- A left-to-right stampede of Bad Buffalos equivalent to the cars from Onett.
- An invasion of 2 Cute Lil' UFOs that will fire a beam and run away.
- A Smilin' Sphere will appear flying, firing PSI Fire Beta to one of the characters for 3 times. After that, it will laugh maniacally and leave the stage.
- The sun will shine so brightly, the characters will lose 5% energy per second for 20 seconds
As platforms, you can step on some boulders and cactus at the sides of the stage, and a shack at the center of the stage. My Music: P.S.: Magicant seems more likely than Dusty Dunes Desert, but I posted this one because it would be pretty fun. P.S. 2: I agree with Dasher's selection of Galaxy's songs, but I insist that I feel we'll get a specific stage and not a lobby level ^_^

Wow, you're ideas are great Johan. They make my idea seem generic.
For that matter, I was watching through the SSE videos today and was surprised to see that Castle Dedede is in the game! It's in a few movies in SSE. That makes it's exclusion even more baffling.
