Maybe Doc Louis, Mr. Dream, or even the SPO character.

In this interview with the producer Ken Yeeloy does seem to keep emipasising that the game is packed with content (nearly didn't fit on a Wii disk), also the Brusier Brothers have been confirmed to not return to the game. Also Disco Kid is based off one of the older characters (he forgot who at the time though) who evovled so much from his sterotype he became an all new character. Also NLG's has tried to give each character their own backstory that represented with picture montages before the fight. Here's one with Glass Joe. EDIT: Go to Amazon and buy the exclusive Punch Out! Heavyweight Contender Kit containing: * King Hippo Crown Replica * King Hippo Desktop Punching Bag * King Hippo Boxer Shorts (Size: Large) * Doc Louis Remedy Chocolate Bar * Kit does not include Punch-Out!! the game. Game sold separately.Only for $34.99.

The fact that they even mention the Bruiser Bros. might mean the inclusion of Super Punch-Out!! characters.

Did Nintendo really make Punch-Out!! merchandise like King Hippo's crown and boxer shorts? It looks like King Hippo could be considered #2 mascot of the Punch-Out!! franchise. I suppose its because of his appearances as a recurring villain in that Captain N cartoon show in the 80s. Little Mac for playable character in SSB4! King Hippo for assist trophy in SSB4!

Holy hell.
I'm wanting that King Hippo deal like I want a million dollars and a modestly hot girlfriend.

More like King Hippo for Boss. Why not both? AT in multiplayer mode, Boss in Adventure Mode? ATs should have more roles in the story mode. Lets discuss more about this concept over at the Smash Bros. board if we want to continue this. Back to Punch-Out!!, I do wonder who Disco Kid was based on... oh, what if Mr. Dream is in the game?! I imagine he would look like a white Mike Tyson. It would be funny if Mr. Dream tried to bite Little Mac's ear.

I'm secretly hoping some of the opponents from that arm wrestling arcade game show up as a hidden boxer or something.
Boxing Mechanical Gorilla? Yes!

Wouldn't it be cool if Bald Bull's story involved his Mask X alter ego in this game?!

If they reference that NLG will be up there with Paon as one of the best Nintendo nostalgia developers.
Seriously. If Mask X is referenced they know their stuff the extra mile style.
