LOL As did I, man. Don't fret it. I plan to stick around there, but the reason I signed up was for the contest. XD
I wonder why they didn't finish up that Spyborgs contest...

My guess would be a combination of lack of interest from players, and lack of entries to judge. Of course, that means I would've had a decent chance at winning. Darn you, Capcom! You cheated me out of a free game ...that I could probably pick up right now for $10.

LOL Yeah, you could quite easily. If you do get it, let me know what you think.

Got the game yesterday, and it's as much fun as I hoped it would be, if not more so. The roster is fresh, with a ton of new faces on Capcom's side and the Tatsunoko characters being very unique from the Marvel old-timers. I think that this may be the finest in the Vs. line, honestly. If you like these kinds of games, you really need to go pick this up. Ask me anything you'd like about the game! Nester - You'd be pleased to know that Alex is a beast in this. Man. I'm not usually a big "wrestler" fighter, but Alex is really powerful in here, and he's much quicker than Zangief. I played as him a bit in 3rd Strike, but I think he shines here.

I want this game, but I don't know if it's practical for me to pay full price for games anymore. Frankly, I feel a little burned from buying New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
I might yet, tho. I've been playing fighting games lately, so I'm kind of in the mood.
It's quite a quandary. I want to support third-party games, but at this time, it's financially difficult to do so.

I hear you, man. I wouldn't have gotten it so soon, myself, but it popped up at Target while I was there, and I had a $40 gift card to spend. XD Otherwise, it would have been next month, I'm sure.
Didn't care for NSMB Wii, much, eh? You mentioned you're getting tired of 3D Marios - perhaps it's the whole franchise you need a break from?

Didn't care for NSMB Wii, much, eh? You mentioned you're getting tired of 3D Marios - perhaps it's the whole franchise you need a break from? I liked it. I finished it. But I wasn't too compelled to go back and keep playing it. (The Star Coin side-quest is just as tedious an exercise now as those kinds of things were back in the 90's, so I didn't spend much time on it.) But seeing as how the game is an enormous hit, it's unlikely the price will come down for years, so $50 was probably the best I would be able to do for the foreseeable future. On the other hand, considering the relatively small amount of time it held my attention, I probably would've been better off skipping it altogether. The interesting thing is that before I bought it, I went back to play thru all the classic 2D Mario games, and I found myself getting bored. I thought maybe it was because of over-familiarity. But by contrast, I also played thru the classic Sonic games, and I enjoyed them as much as always. I guess I'm just finished with Mario. As for TvC, I suppose there's no rush for that, either. (But who knows. )

That can happen. I hate to admit it, but I'm still pretty tired of SMB3, and I love that game. I just know it too well. XD I do like it when I play it, but I can't make myself go all the way through at once.
In progress notes, I've unlocked Tekkaman Blade, Joe the Condor, and Frank West so far. I've got one or two more playthroughs to unlock Zero, then I have to beat Yami with Zero to get Yatterman-2. No word yet on anyone else being hidden in the game, alas.

Third game I want but cannot get. Mario and Luigi 3, Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and now Tatsunoko vs. Capcom... *sigh* Too bad I was unable to get a job. I have some dollars (like 200), but the dollars value to Chilean Pesos is quite low right now, so I don't want to exchange money as of now... plus, with my second Uni year starting soon (in a bit more than a month) I probably wouldn't be able to enjoy these games as much.
But if I don't get enough money to buy at least Pokémon SoulSilver when it comes out, I'm going to have to swallow my pride and just ask my mother for the money for the game (Dad would laugh in my face and then say no <.<)...
I hope I'm able to save up enough money to buy TvC in June/July (I get a certain amount of money to be able to eat at my Uni, but I almost never use it all). I need another fighting game that isn't Brawl, and... *twitch*... IT HAS ZERO IN IT!!
I hope this game becomes as easy to hack as Brawl (ok, so that is just way to farfected)... I'd like to put my own music into it... *twitch* ZERO! ... I'm such a nerdy fanboi <_<'

If you want additional reason to purchase this, I present to you my Impressions thus far.Shadrio - Know that Zero is a combo machine in this. Man. You can pile on the hits with him. He can combo two special moves together (I don't remember what they're called, but it's his Forward + Attack and his DP + Attack moves, in that order), or you can skip the DP and use his awesome Lv. 3 in the combo instead. Insane. I'll be happy to answer questions, as I said earlier. I've unlocked everyone we know of now, so ask away!

Combo "Machine"? ·_· *twitches from glee*
Well, as far as those impressions you gave there make me giddy with fanboi-ism (guilty as charged, I am a Zero fanboi... ZERO SABER *twitch*) for Zero and interested in trying out other Capcom characters (like Viewtiful Joe or Frank West) and the unknown Tatsunoko (those bird-men look epic... I should learn their names <.<)
If you start giving some awesome info without spoiling (can you spoil a game like this? :S), then I shall give priority to this game above Spirit Tracks and Mario & Luigi 3, but not above Pokémon SoulSilver :P 2G had the funnest Story mode (Fire Punching Ampharos and Ice Punching Feraligatr... :D), but 4G's competitive battling is rivaled by none other :P

Heh. What kind of info do you want, man? I'm game. ^_^
And the Bird-Men...heh. Ken the Eagle, Joe the Condor, and (bird-woman) Jun the Swan are from Gatchaman. All of them are fun to play as, that they are. I like Jun's style the most, as she's all about explosives and quick strikes. Joe is the powerhouse of the three, with a counter and lots of projectiles. Ken is very balanced, with a little bit of everything in his moveset.

Well, I just got this game today and I'm loving it so far. I really suck at it, but I don't care.
To anyone who has the game: Are you up for a match?
