Uh... it does need to be attached. The press releases say so.

I'm quite curious as to what other games they will be (re-)releasing for this thing.
Star Fox Assault? Kirby Air Ride? Wario World?
To name a few.
Bah, I see no real need for these things. I can pick them up for the GameCube, used and for much cheaper anyway. Just one exception, however, is DK Jungle Beat.

Parrot- You said Mario Power Tennis didn't have character control, so I told you otherwise. I have naught a clue about the upcoming version. Nunchuck prolly is usable, I didn't read the press release but I imagine two ways to play exist: Wii Sports style and classic. I would love Wind Waker with TP Wii controls. Same with Star Fox Adventures. Kirby Air Ride would be fun to play again, and I imagine it would play like Excite Truck. I want F-Zero GX released (get it to sell pleeeease) using the nunchuck to steer and the motion control in the remote to slide back and forth to attack (shoulder button moves), nunchuck motion makes the vehicle spin. If done in any other way, the game would be near impossible to control with motion unless the speed is severely toned down. And I don't want that.

I'm a bit late but... After getting out of kokiri, you gaze out across the vast land and go "wow....." but wait, what's IN this land anyway? a few paths and a ranch... just a little hub for connecting each place. It's still a good game, but Majora's maks's overworld actually HAD stuff, ya know? But it was easier for it to not be empty because it was smaller than OOT, but each area was bigger too, it had alot going for it, if it weren't for the time, It would definetly be better than OOT. As for the moving of the characters in Mario tennis, get a GC controller And TP was alot like Alttp.

As for the moving of the characters in Mario tennis, get a GC controller Well, I posted this MPT info before but since no one noticed it the first time, looks like I'll have to post it again. - perform backhand and forehand shots - direct ball on corners of court - top spin and slice based on motion controls - Buttons for special moves - no Cube controller supportSource.Well, now it's the third time, I'm posted this info.

I still think MM is better than OOT. With the three days thing. I doubt I'd love it anywhere near as much without the time limit, either. The time limit never felt like a restraint, it just meant that the entire game world could evolve over those three days, but you could always go back and watch it do it again, or see the things you missed.

Yes, that games replay value triumphed over OoT. If only we could combine the replay value and side-quests of MM with the many dungeons and bosses of OoT...

I think Majora's Mask would have been much more kindly regarded if the time-altering devices were a bit easier to use. Slowing down time is necessary - but you have to play a song every time. But I don't know why they didn't just make it so the time constraint didn't apply in dungeons (like Pikmin 2).
One of the best Zelda games. But one of the least appreciated.

Here's some video (and commentary) of how MPT PoW handles.
Alco control info:
- Play with either a Wii Remote and have your character move automatically.
- Same as above except move with D-pad
- Or use a nunchuck to move.
How the game plays
GCN to Wii comparsion.

OOT was well done for its time since you had a full world map to roam and the music would change now and then. It's aged now but it was amazing back then, and it's still kinda fun. Twilight Princess is a great example of how good it can get. Evading enemies on your horse and doing battle with boar riders.

I just of an interesting upgrade/throwback they could do with the Chibi Robo remake, maybe the point and click control that was present in the original GCN build (back when Bandai was interested in publishing the game before Nintendo) could be put back in because of the Wii Remote's pointer function.

It's a shame that Ocarina had the horse only in Hyrule Field to get to places faster and nothing more. I agree, though. I'm glad Twilight Princess made the horse aspect more crucial to the story.

The game changed significantly from then, though, becoming more of a Zelda-style title. I can't imagine anything worse than controlling a Zelda game with a point and click interface Maybe for a sequel though! Come on Nintendo & Skip - you know you wanna

Oops, hate to post about it once more, but I'll admit, Ocarina of Time has had that rather revolutionary feel to it when played the first few times.
Sadly, looking back at it now when we've got more things like Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, Ocarina just doesn't seem to stand up as much as it did then compared to the rest after it.
Not saying it's bad now, just that it lost that amazing touch, thanks to the later titles in the series.

I can't imagine anything worse than controlling a Zelda game with a point and click interface I know this wasn't your point, but a point and click function might actually be great for a top-down view Zelda game. Remember how well touch control worked for Phantom Hourglass? It would be like that sorta.
