Okay, I changed the name of the topic, because both titles had been announced like two years ago at this point. T00t t00t.

Details on the first "Big Name Games" for the American release: gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=118058Sakamoto and Sakurai's creations will be the first games available. Not a big surprise. But there are some new names: Pixel (Cave Story), 5th Cell (Scribblenauts), WayForward (A Boy and his Blob Wii), Gaijin Games (Bit.Trip) and Team Meat (Super Meat Boy). I wonder what we'll see for the European/Australian releases. It would be cool if you could access the Big Name Games of all regions, but that isn't very likely (probably because of legal reasons, too). On another note, the contests will be known as Design Challenges in America.

Massive update: www.wariowarediy.com/Now the site fully works. The contents are similar to that of the Japanese counterpart. The first weekly games in America are exactly the same as in Japan almost a year ago. Theme of first contest (called design challenge by NoA) still not revealed, but it seems that the same contests will be held worldwide. You can also find the Nintendo Channel videos (tutorials and Sakurai) there.

Great to see people making Pokemon-related microgames on there. Now let's see something Kirby-related or what have you...

It's hilarious they made that Seviper thing into a microgame ^_^ I hadn't read this, but it seems there's a second option to enter the E3 contest:

I made some pretty badass Microgames. One is "Barrel Burst" where you have to bust the DK Barrel and find the banana. DK will give you a thumbs up after winning.
"Sonic Run" has you guide Sonic on a safe path away from danger.
And I made a Pokemon one called "I Choose You" where you have to select the Pokemon that will beat Charmander... (Its Squirtle)
I wish I could show you...
