Mario dons tons of identities and roles. Fire Mario, Tanooki Mario, Frog Mario, Metal Mario, why not a Dr. Mario?

About Humans in the Mushroom Kingdom: -Humans in the Mushroom Kingdom are rare and typically have super-human abilities. This is pretty obvious given that most if not all of the the human characters take precedence over the non-human ones in some way, and their abilities usually exceed that of normal people. The only exceptions are the humans in Mario Golf, but I'll touch on that later. Wait, weren't the toads/ mushroom people midgets with hats?

First off all, the proper term is "little people". Second, what kind of humans lack ears, noses and visible legs?

In the older games, and artwork, they were clearly mushrooms. But as they became more human I think their nature came into question. In Mario RPG the Chancellor "almost drops his spores," but the Paper Mario games I think would suggest that they can change what their mushroom cap design is. Maybe it's like tattoos for them. Who knows. I personally just say they are mushroom people, but many would beg to differ.

It's pretty clear that living being in the Mushroom World can be born with clothes on or body parts that are removable as if they were clothes, so the head/hat thing is understandable in spite of them being living mushroomoids.

About Toad. Did you know that in Mario Tennis 64, he drops the trophy on his head, and a million spores shoot out. Then little mushrooms grew around him. If that's not a true mushroom person, I don't know what is!

I know! They are A: humans with fungus in there brain, disrupting growth, making them midgets without noses or legs etc., or B: They wear REAL mushroom hats!

They're Mushroom People, not humans. That's that.

Yes, hats. I've seen Toad take it off in SMBSS.

Yes, hats. I've seen Toad take it off in SMBSS. What? Prove it. Also, SMBSS?Forget I said anything. Anyone who takes "facts" from that crappy non-canon show should not bother validating said facts. Seriously, nothing in that show should even be considered in the Mario universe. Toads do not have hats. They are anthropomorphic toadstools.
