And Octillery learns a whole bunch of Beam-like moves Signal Beam, Aurora Beam, Bullet Seed... just look at those new moves! If it wasn't because of the fact Remoraid comes so late in the game and before it you have awesome options like Feraligatr and Red Gyarados, then I would so have one of these pokémon. Maybe secound playthough. I'll use Cyndaquil in that one for sure, he's so cute I still hate the fact that they haven't made Chikorita a worthwhile choice, its movepool is the worst of all starters, and with Razor Leaf as your only reliable attacking move (ok, 3G added Magical Leaf, but that's only a tiny bit more powerful), I only used Chikorita as starter like 5 times, and I remember restarting that game a whole bunch of times (rarely ventured out to Kanto... it was pretty dull).

I remember my Silver Version, it was so hard using Chikorita as your starter. The first two gyms were so hard to beat, but thats why l liked it it was more of a challenge. The only thing that Chikorita has going for it, for myself is that it evolves into Bayleef my favorite pokemon. I'll stand behind the lil grass guy to the bitter end!
On the second time around I'm guessing I'll probaly start out with Cyndaquil and trade over a remoraid egg.
Also I can't wait to train a Tyranitar again cause I want it to follow me around! Haha speaking of following around I'm gunna have my mew in my party all the time so it can follow me. I worked SO hard to get that mew 999 pokemon into the ranch lol

Man, the official art for Gold was weird. Look at those armored shoes! And how mean he looks. Even as a freakin' 9 year old, I thought Gold looked deviant.

Seriously, with all the changes: new artwork, new looks, I want to cry. Gold and Silver were really something back in 2000. Crisp art, a buttload of new features without looking too flashy and tacky. AND it incorporated Kanto, which seemed vaguely sad yet full of remixed music. Still, looking at the list of changes, it looks somewhat interesting. bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pokémon_HeartGold_and_SoulSilver_Versions

I preordered both versions, but I couldn't pick them up today, because my parents had a little too many tasks to finish. I probably will tomorrow or the day after.

Picked my Soul Silver up today. I'm up to the Sprout Tower- my Ghastly is concerned about the swaying central pillar. I lol'd.

Wait, Bugsy is a guy? Since when? Are you serious with that question? ;D (Not hard to believe one would be... The character has always been androgynous).

Dead serious. I thought she was a girl. She certainly seemed like one.

I'VE NEVER HEARD ANY GIRL HAVING THAT NAME. (Do they?) (Sorry for the CAPS'LOCKIN')
