First batch of DLC came out in Europe. Contains more Sonic crap. (Don't go looking for it though, as I hear it's been taken down for some reason.)
Aww well, I suppose Metal Sonic isn't the worst character they could've picked. And Death Egg looks pretty dang fun.
Also Sonic the Fighters music. woot.

According to a buddy of mine, it got removed because Sony had posted it too early. I think the company that makes the All-Stars game outsourced this DLC to somebody else, seeing as how they use Metal's classic design instead of the Metal Overlord one from Heroes, and they made a level based on Sonic & Knuckles. XD

Oh yeah, the Metal Sonic/Death Egg DLC (as well as "Forklift Ryo") went live a couple weeks ago.

I know I'm very late here, but I enjoy this game. Much more than Mario Kart Wii, since it's actually possible to win through skill rather than luck in this. I think the company that makes the All-Stars game outsourced this DLC to somebody else, seeing as how they use Metal's classic design instead of the Metal Overlord one from Heroes, and they made a level based on Sonic & Knuckles. XD It was the same people who made the rest of the game. That Metal Sonic actually is the current design, too. He has much more detailed limbs than the classic design. Did anyone else spot Ristar's cameo in the Death Egg track?

Yup- I was quite excited about Ristar being in the game, even if it is just a cameo.

Sorry, I'll correct myself...they used a Metal Sonic design that wasn't the Metal Overlord design in Heroes. These guys have the biggest Heroes hardon, which is why there are nine levels based on Heroes courses with two or three Sonic Hereos songs per course. I'd understand if there were, like, three Heroes courses, and the other six were from other games, but...

Oh, right.
Yeah, I was a bit miffed there wasn't a Green Hill stage (or at least the music). From what I've heard, Sumo wanted to cover a wider range of Sonic history, but Sega insisted on Heroes stuff for whatever reason. I've heard there were a few characters they wanted to include which Sega made them cut in favour of more Sonic characters too, like Vyse. I have no idea how true all that is, though.

I'm convinced SEGA just doesn't want the world to remember anything they've done before the Dreamcast.

Did anyone else spot Ristar's cameo in the Death Egg track? I didn't know that, that's pretty cool actually. I'm still thinking of getting this when the local price drops. Also hoping there's some more DLC underway, but I have this feeling SEGA's gonna pull a L4D and announce a Sega Allstars Racing 2 not too far in the future that has all those characters people wanted as DLC. Except Vyse. Because SEGA's run by eeeeeeediots

There isn't any more DLC in the works. At least for the moment. Sumo want to do more, but the ball's in Sega's court now, and Sega haven't asked for any more yet.

Goldenaxe, Skies of Arcadia and Panzer Dragoon? This is off to a good start already
And now Sonic actually has a reason to drive a vehicle!
