They did it with Brawl. How long did we go between the movie where they showed off Fox and any pertinent information to follow? Ages, if I recall. Good times, eh? I was well aware of that, however. They do like to sneak-attack us on these things a lot. |

It's as if I was watching a playback of a tragedy that really happened."Huh...this feels different from any other Metroid game to come before, and I'm kind of excited about it. It casts off a JRPG vibe, with the walking into the sunset and reminiscing about the past; even though my relationship with JRPGs is strenuous, I'm eager to see how well this applies to Metroid. And I also have to remind myself that this is done by a development team that's drastically different from Nintendo's in-house guys and Retro Studios. >_> I'm looking forward to where this goes! |

Fresh, new screenshots. This game is coming out a lot sooner (June 27) than I expected...which is refreshing! I'm tired to games being announced 3-4 years before release. |

The vibe of mixing 2D Metroid with 3D Prime is intriguing me. I hope it works out well. Very exciting!

Cool release date! MUST....RESIST....LOOKING AT SCREENSHOTS....
If you'll recall, I challenged myself to stay away from any information about this game until the final reviews. I wants it to be a surprise, see? Too many trailers kinda ruined Mario Galaxy for me a bit.
