Stumbled upon the Collector's Edition yesterday - figured what the hell and picked it up. Didn't expect to find that on Black Friday.

Lucky. My mother preordered it- and didn't get it when it came in because apparently every Gamestop in the state got short changed on the Special Editions.
Short query, because I haven't been paying attention: Does the regular edition come with a Wii Motion Plus?

That sucks - I got mine at Target, and they had five of them before I bought it. Check yours! Don't know about the Motion Plus attachment, though,

The regular edition does not include a Motion+ controller or attachment. However, I believe it does include the music CD.

As said ^ presviosly both version do have the music CD.
Special edition* contains TLoZ SS with music CD and golden Wii Remote Plus** Regular edition contains TLoZ SS with music CD.
*Special edition/Collector edition/Limited edition, what ever the ****ing name you want to call it. ** Batteries included.
Got the special edition this week, came in a nice looking box. The only thing that kind of surprised me was how the top opening of the box seemed very "loose/open", like it had already been opened. Checked inside and everything is still there. Anyone else who brought their copy online has anything similar to this? (It's not a real problem, but it just seemed kind of weird).

Man, I could have sworn it came with a Motion Plus attachment. Oh well, you can get them cheap anyways.

Heh I loved removing the wrist-strap and jacket on my new remote.
I was like: "Where we're going we don't need that shit!"
Seriously I never threw my controller ever, so I don't need that stuff.

I've never slipped and let go of my controller ever in the 5 years since I got my Wii...
Until today, during one of the boss battles...
Luckily, the remote was tethered to the Nunchuk so it didn't go far. And the additional thrust actually registered as several sword strikes on the boss I was having trouble hitting anyway, so it worked out.
But still, be warned... this game can get quite vigorous in places (especially when your alignment slips at a crucial moment).

Never for me. You know why? I don't play the games like one should. I sit on my butt and move my wrists around. I barely move my arms, I'm too lazy for that.

I'll probably end up really doin' it for bosses and just sitting for more mundane combat, as energy conservation. Still, I have little fear of launching my Remote, but I do take heed of your warning.

Yes, that is how I played Twilight Princess. Barely moving, making minor twitching motions to activate the game's motion.
But this is WII MOTION PLUS! You have to slash left to right, or up and down. You can't just lazily waggle the remote while slouching or Link will lazily waggle his sword at the enemy, not even tickling them.
In one way, it's good that motion controls are finally proving themselves. On the other, my arm is tired......

Ha! I figured it out. You know what the Harp is? It's Wii Music. That dumb game. Someone at Nintendo probably thought Wii Music was still an awesome idea and decided to incorporate it in this game, hoping it would be more appreciated this time. Fat chance, it was a dumb idea then and it will always be a dumb idea.
Hell even the hardest part of the freaking game is p[laying the harp at the Lumpy Pumpkin.
That was a pain in the ass and really screamed "Wii Music"!
The only thing that annoyed me more was sky diving with those damn Flying Squirrels. It took me fifty tries and what do you get? 20 freaking Rupees! Screw that!

I got the game yesterday... I really don't like the motion controls, especially during the flying and skydiving parts. Playing Zelda with the Wii Remote feels unintuitive to me. I didn't like Twilight Princess very much but at least it let me play with the regular Gamecube controller and allowed me to save at any time. Oh well, I will try to finish this game... I just made it to the sealed grounds and now I'm inside this temple.

Finally beat the game! quite satisfied with it, you can really feel all the love that went into it (something I didn't feel with TP, at least not the entire game) I think this is easily the Zelda game that explains the most without creating many new plot holes . Now I am free to move to the timeline tread
P.D. The last boss was the most difficult boss I had battle in a Zelda game (I had beaten all, minus Zelda 2)

I stand by my declaration that if Twilight Princess looked like Skyward Sword rather than black/brown, it would be my favourite Zelda game. But it looked so bland that even the cool stuff fades into a brown mush in my memory.
Skyward Sword is great and has some incredible ideas of its own... But the majority of the game felt like bits ripped off from past Zelda adventures and packaged in such a way that at times it was in danger of being incoherent.
On the plus side, it says to me that there's still room for the series to improve in the future!
